Silence filled the room as Jisung slowly sat up, looking at the two innocently, completely oblivious to what had happened.

It was like a switch was flipped, his emotions all flowing back, he tilted his head looking at Haewon and Taeyong who had their mouth agape, looking at the boy like he was a complete stranger.

But Haewon knew right then and there, he was her childhood best friend, her first love, not the emotionless boy whom she thought was a monster.

Jisung squinted his eyes, looking right at her before gasping aloud, closing his eyes and laying back down, rubbing his temples as he felt a headache coming back.

That's when Haewon came back to your senses, realising that he was still sick.

" Jisung! Are you okay?" she ran up to him, putting a hand on his head to check his temperature.

But it felt electrifying when Haewon touched him, sparks flying when she touched him and when he looked into her eyes, she couldn't help but get lost in them, her hand lingered there for the next few minutes, unmoving.

Time stopped as the two just stared into each other's eyes. The familiar feeling of love bubbled inside her as she looked at the boy who looked back a small smile plastered on his face.

" Haewon? I've missed you..." Jisung quietly spoke, as her hand subconsciously drew circles on his forehead.

" Me too.." Haewon replied, looking at him endearingly, just watching her best friend in front of her, the one she had loved for all her life, recalling the memories the two had together.

" What's going on?" Taeyong spoke, clearing his throat, raising an eyebrow as he looked at the two of them.

" Honestly, i'm not sure, but i felt the lost memories in the back of my mind, I guess when that forcefield happened, it was because of the mind connection we did when we were young, and it triggered the rest of the memories.." Jisung explained, looking at the elder.

But Taeyong just looked at him confused, like he was crazy to think about that, but he knew Jisung was special so he didn't question it.

" You see, the mind has different parts to it, one where its dark and cold, another happy and bright then there is your emotional centre, there are more like fear deep inside, but you have to find it yourself, but once you know where they are it's simple to just hide your memories such that you can't remember them and I guess because my father taught me how to do that without realising what he was teaching me I went ahead an erase the memory from my mind, and because Haewon and I bonded our mental energy before that happened the memories were erased for her too." Jisung continued, looking at Haewon, giving her a light smile.

" But what happened to your cold and emotionless side?" Haewon asked, genuinely curious.

" My father...he told me to store all my emotions along with my memories, so when my memories went away the emotions went along with it, but I think I can still flick a switch to make me emotionless again." He said, grinning at the end, eyes shining like stars as you giggled.

" I think that was the most open you had ever been." Taeyong said, " Sorry I got to go, we have another mission soon." he said before exitting, leaving the two lovers behind.

Haewon sat beside Jisung as he laid on the bed, a comfortable silence filled the room, the two stayed like that enjoying each other's presence.

" You know, i'm sorry I left you back then." he spoke up, looking at the girl with guilt filled eyes.

" It's fine, Sung, as long as we're together now." she said, giving him a soft smile.

He started moving to the side, leaving an empty space on the bed beside him, he pat the spot signalling for her to lay there with him.

" Huh?" Haewon breathed, confused. Jisung rolled his eyes and pulled her to lay beside him, wrapping his hands around her waist as he buried his head into the crook of her neck.

" You smell good." he mumbled, feeling himself dozing off, while the girl laid there frozen. Her cheeks turned red, watching as the boy showed affection that she was not used to, forgetting that he had always been doing this since young.

Haewon snapped out of her daze when she noticed that he had fallen asleep, soft snores escaping from his lips as he cuddled close to her.

Haewon's heart fluttered, as her stomach flipped vigorously, the girl's mind went into a frenzy as she admired his features.

Slowly, the girl relaxed and got comfortable with the two cuddling, his arm circling around her waist as his breath fanned her neck, she played with his hair as a soft smile landed on his lips.

The two stayed in that position for the rest of the night, affectionately cuddling, in each other's embrace. She felt safe in his arms while Jisung finally felt happiness inside him.

For once, Jisung had a peaceful night, without any nightmares.
