The usually quiet and eerie house was, for once, nicely decorated and filled with laughters. Fairy lights hung on the walls, the tall ceiling decorated with banners.
The chandelier from the ceiling acted as a disco ball, but more formal. It gave the place a touch of fanciness as the specially invited guests came striding in as if they were a hot-shot.
Haewon stood in the middle of the ball the light glistening down on her, illuminating her soft features. Without a care to the people there, she continued to dance as if she was one with the music.
Haewon's parents had spontaneously decided to host this party, the reason unknown to her, yet the thought lingered at the back of her mind, only caring about having fun at that moment.
Not realising how much danger she was in as she stood in the middle of the crowd, dancing drunkenly, tipsy from the alcohol intake.
The apathetic boy stood at a dark corner watching her every move scrutinizingly. He leant against the wall, arms crossed, counting down the seconds until he had to strike.
" What an idiot." he mumbled as he watched Haewon smile to a random stranger before dancing with them.
After a few minutes, the boy walked back out through the back door, his intimidating gaze scanning his surroundings, making sure no one followed him before walking over to the main door.
He entered, his fingers raking through his black hair while his other left in the pocket of his jeans.
It was like everything stopped, everyone's attention diverting towards him rather than the dance, while you were left there confused.
His emotionless face giving no care to his surroundings, bangs covering his eyes, his dark black eyes piercing through everyone's soul as he looked at them.
Dominance radiated off him as he slowly walked closer to the crowd and everyone made way for him.
It was like he was royalty, a king that ruled over them, a handsome one at that. His eyes stared down at the girl making her gulp down a lump in her throat.
