Date: Monday
"Everyone's waiting for you Kenzie. You can eat the eggs when you return from school. We have to run" Tasha stated
"Coming" She responded
"Are you okay with your bike Zen?' Tom inquired
"Yep but I wished your mum never died" She responded
"Poor you, at least I wasn't the one promised a car" He added
"Life is unfair, she promised to buy me a car on my birthday but died a day to my birthday"
Kenzie laughed
"That's not funny" Zendaya declared
"I sympathize with you " Tom added
"I'm off, thanks for the bike," She said taking her backpack
"Be careful dear" Tom and Tasha said in unison
"Was that planned?" Kenzie inquired
"No, it's the parents' charm" Tom replied
"You guys are weird," Zen said on her way out

Mackenzie's POV
My parents literally forced me out of the house this morning
"Bye mum I love you" I screamed
"Love you, dear be good"
"Of course, you too"
"Yeah, starting tomorrow you will go by the school bus" She declared
"Okay"
I really had issues getting to the hall, I hope I won't get lost. I did not want to attend school but my dad lied about the school being pink. I should have been reasonable, how can a school be painted pink? This Elementary school is blue and white. My mum forced me to pack my hair up saying"You'll look more presentable in this". I removed the hairband.
"Are you lost or something?" A girl asked
She does look friendly
"Yes" I confessed
'I'm Zoey, a seventh-grader and also a new student" She stated
I can tell that she's jovial. She is a cute blonde girl with blue eyes. I'm a little taller than she is.
"I'm Mackenzie, you can call me Kenzie. We're classmates" I introduced myself
"We're running late, let's get to class" She added
"By the way, I love your shoe" I complimented
"Yours isn't bad either"
Why do people talk like this? Because they don't want you to feel bad, they lie that 'yours isn't bad either'. Anyways, she looks like a good friend material.
