Tom's POV
"Let's join hands for prayers," I told my wife and children
"Bless this food and provide for those who don't have any to eat in Jesus name"
"Amen" They all responded
"Can we have something better than this tomorrow" Kenzie stated pointing to the food
"Not again, be content with what you have" I replied
"But I don't like veggies" She added
"They're good for the body" I appended
"So, how was your day girls?" I inquired
"Great" Zen replied sarcastically
"Mine was fine" Kenzie added
"You'll get used to New York" I assured them
"Did you guys make any friends?" Tasha asked
"Yep, her name is Zoey" Kenzie answered
"What about you Zendaya?," She asked further
"No, I did not"
"I'm sure you will" I declared
"You're not wasting this food," Tasha told Zen
"But mum"
"No buts" She commented
"I've got great news"
"What is it?" Kenzie asked
"I got a job" Tasha screamed
'I'm so happy for you" Kenzie added
"Congratulations mum" Zen stated
"Thanks. I'm starting on Wednesday. Additional news, I got a car" She added
"Are you for real" Kenzie inquired
"Of course"
From the look of things, Zen hates New York. I recall breaking the news on a particular night. I'd discussed it with Tasha and she was okay with it. Kenzie is always jovial so she took the news well. Zendaya was broken, she persuaded me to think about it but I'm a man of my words.

Zen's POV
I've got great news" My mum stated
"What is it?" Kenzie asked
"I got a job" Tasha screamed
Thank you, Jesus. Finally, things are going well. My thought was that my parents won't get a job and things will go really bad so we'll move back to Chicago.
'I'm so happy for you" Kenzie added
"Congratulations mum" I stated
"Thanks. I'm starting on Wednesday. Additional news, I got a car" She added
Glory to God, she got a car. It's her sister's car actually but at least, she has one. Aunt Ashley is so nice.
"I'll be in my room," I said and left the table.
My daily routine goes thus: waking up, reading a chapter of the Bible, doing chores(doing the dishes, arranging my room), having breakfast, going to school, having lunch, and reading. I don't have breakfast every night because most times, I have a big lunch. Instead of reading bedtime stories, read my books. I'm a nerd, a pure. That's what makes me entirely different from Mackenzie, she reads an hour to her exams. Funny enough, she never fails.

Location: The Daniels Residence
"I don't want to go to school mum" Kenzie whined
"You have to" Tom responded
"Did you girls get a name for the dog?" Tom asked
"Yeah, her name is Philly" Zen responded
"Why do you call us girls, it makes us look like babies," Zendaya remarked
"Speak for yourself" Kenzie commented
"You may see yourself as a young adult but you'll forever be our girl" Tasha stated
"Do you guys realize I'm in College?" Zendaya announced
"Yep, we do" Tasha affirmed
"I did not name the dog Philly, Zen did" Kenzie stated further
"That's for stealing my room" Zen declared
"Next week is Culture day in school" Kenzie announced
"I remember doing that in seventh grade" Zen recalled
"I wasn't talking to you," Kenzie remarked
"Why do you keep arguing with each other?" Tom inquired
"I'm off to school, see you guys later" Zen declared standing
"Okay, but you're helping your sister with her project" Tasha added
"Whatever" She appended
Today's Davids birthday and the dudes are organizing a party for him. David, Richard, Alex and I attended the same High School. Richard is inviting specific people and I'm not in support of it. The whole class should be invited and not specific people. The party is at my house, my parents are okay with it.
"Dude, are you getting cold feet?" Richard asked me
I'm a straight forward guy, I'll tell him the truth
"I'm not comfortable with the fact that you're inviting specific people. It makes a very bad impression of you"
"Come on, Adam" He added
"I won't be attending if this is your plan"
"Okay, okay, I'll change the arrangement" He surrendered
"That's fine" I appended
