  Tasha's Pov

Though I studied Economics, I did not for once think that I'll teach in a High School. Driving into Summer High School, two things are on my mind; the students won't like me and I'm scared. Summer High School looks conducive for teaching, it has states of the art facilities. I'm in my favorite blue suit, Zen forced me to wear it. I thought a shirt and jeans will be fine but she believes the first day must be great.

"Tasha?" A familiar voice called

I wined down the car's window

"Ashley?' What on earth are you doing here?" I asked surprisingly

"I came to wish you luck" She responded

"Thanks but you need rest at this time of your life" I declared

"Didn't you walk as you wished when you were pregnant" She questioned

"I did but you're in the seventh month, I think"

"Whatever, get down, you don't want to be late" She declared opening the door.

I love my sister, she's the best. She stands out when it comes to beauty, her eyes match perfectly with her hair. I hate admitting it but she really has long hair, I'll say she got it from my mum. Although Ashley is my younger sister, I see her as my age mate. She's more mature than her age and she's super nice. Aside from being a Medical Practitioner, she's also a philanthropist. Whenever she smiles, you see her perfect set of white teeth and deep dimples. Unlike me, I have to smile really hard before one sees my dimples. She got married to Max, a soldier last year, and moved to New York. I know she worries a lot about him because he's always on missions and he needs to be home now, but he's not. I wonder what runs through her mind when she thinks of him, whether he's alive or not because long-distance relationships don't work all times. How does he even fell that he has a pregnant wife waiting and worrying about him at home?

"How are the kids?" She asked disrupting my thoughts

"They're perfectly fine"

"I hope they love New York?" She inquired

"They're getting to love it gradually"

"It's so great to have you guys here"

"Yeah. Thanks for all this Ashley, it means a lot to me" I appreciated

"What are sisters for" She said dragging me to walk faster

"Oh mY Gosh" I screamed

"Where do you get your strength from? When I was in your shoes, I could barely raise a leg" I added

"You're lazy. Let's go" She appended

The hallway is painted green and red and it's really long. We've walked for over ten minutes and we're not still in the Principal's office. I hate attention but I got it because there's a new face in the building. Ashley is the Principal's best friend so she assists in the Sickbay at times.

"We're here," Ashley said as we got to a door tagged 'Principal'

She knocked and we went in

I wonder how someone won't doze off here. It doesn't look like an office, it has a wide table and three chairs. The room has an inner room attached to it. Th e first part is the office ant the second is the comfort zone. Why is the AC on in the morning? It's cold already

"Hey Kira" Ashley greeted hugging her

The Principal, Kira is obviously younger than I am. She is a green-eyed blonde. Her smile is so beautiful and I love her already. She's wearing a fitted white trouser suit and black with a black stiletto heel.

"Hi Ashley" She replied

"This is my sister, Tasha" Ashley declared pointing to me

"It's really nice to meet you," I said extending my hand

"I've heard a lot about you" She responded shaking my hand

"Welcome to Summer High School" She added

"Thanks"

"Okay, so I'll carry out a quick orientation for you and my secretary will show you to your office " She declared

"Okay" I expressed

"If anyone's giving you a hard time, feel free to tell me. Ashley's like a sister to me and she won't like it if you're treated badly" She pronounced

"Of course, I will Ms."

"It's Kira, just call me Kira" She appended

"Okay. Thanks a lot" I appreciated

"I want to check the stock of drugs. See you guys later" Ashley said and left

"Your sister is so nice. I don't know her secret being agile at this time. I've advised her to sit at home and rest but it fell on deaf ears" Kira stated

I laughed

"I've said the same thing but she won't listen" I added

"Typical Ashley. Okay, let's get to work. This way please" She said ushering me out

After about thirty minutes of showing me around, I finally got to my office. It's not what I imagined. I imagined I'll work in a staff room and not own an office, it's half the size of Kira's. I have a desktop computer, a large table, and three chairs. There's an Air Conditioner and a fridge. The bathroom is outside beside the office

"I hope this will do" Kira stated

"Seriously? This is perfect, thank you" I responded

"Okay, make yourself comfortable. If you need anything, use the telephone to contact the non-teaching staff"

"Okay" I appreciated

"I'll take my leave now" She stated

"Lest I forget, you should get teaching materials before the endo f today. If you don't, don't hesitate to let me know" She expressed on her way out

"Sure"

"Have a nice day" She said and shut the door

I brought out my phone and dialed my husband

"Hey" I stated

"Hi dear. What's up?"

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"I just finished orientation not quite long and I'm in my office. I never expected any of this"

"Is that so? I'm so happy for you. Congratulations"

"Yeah, thanks. Ashley came"

"My regards to her"

"Sure"

"So, what are you up to?" I inquired

"Nothing much. I fed Philly and I'm planning on working in the garden"

"Okay, take care"

"Sure bye dear"

"Bye"

"Wait, don't forget we're going to Kenzie's school"

"I remember that"

"See ya"

"Okay"

He hung up

I hope I didn't destabilize him by calling. I wish he'll get a job and everything will be perfect but I guess patience is the key here.
