Chapter 29 - Great

1 year time skip (sorrrryyyy)

Third person.
Betty and Jughead have been stronger than ever, they just graduated and are both going to Yale for college and moving into a small 2 bedroom apartment, Jughead  is studying Literature and Journalism while Betty is studying psychology, once she went to therapy and realised how much they helped her, she wanted to help people like that, she no longer digs her nails in her palms, she realised that there are more healthy things she can be doing, she still attends therapy once a week though just to make sure she can stay okay and calm, Jughead has almost finished his story and the publishers were getting ready to publish it, Betty and Cheryl had made up over the summer when Toni and Cheryl got together.
Veronica was going to College in Paris and Archie was staying in Riverdale, they both broke up a few months before graduation because Archie had kissed some ghoulie, and they were now together, Archie had joined the ghoulies and had betrayed all his friends, Veronica found comfort with Reggie and he genuinely cared about her and they were both crazy for each other. Nobody was really speaking with Archie anymore and Reggie was going to college in Paris with Veronica.

Betty's POV
"Well that's the last box" Jughead said walking through the door of our apartment, "Great!" I said walking towards him and kissing his lips, "I love you" I say, "I love you too" he replys, "I can't believe we're here, in college together" I say smiling, "Me neither baby" he says kissing my lips once more, I had a doctors appointment that we had booked because I hadn't got my period in a while and I was worried I was pregnant, I told Jug about it all obviously, it was his idea to book a doctors appointment, "We have to get going if we don't wanna be late" I say a tad worried, I wanted to have kids in the future after college and once I've been working for a few years but now now, it was what I was most looking forward too, "Yeah let's go" Jug says grabbing his keys.

20 minutes later...

I'm sitting in the waiting room alone right now, Jug went to get himself coffee, I really hope I'm not pregnant and it's just some delays or something, "I'm back" Jug says sitting beside me, "How are you doing" He asks taking a sip of his coffee, "I'm good a little anxious but I booked a therapy appointment for tomorrow" I say, "That's great, at least school doesn't start for a month" he says, we decided to spend most of summer at home with friends and then to spend a month here settling in, "Jug, if I am pregnant, what are we gonna do?" I ask, "We're gonna love and raise that baby  like we would if we had it later in life" he says, smiling at me, God I love him, he was so caring and kind and always knows what to say, God I was lucky, "Elizabeth Cooper?" the receptionist calls, "Yes that's me" I say getting up and walking over, Jug behind me, "Dr.Green will see you now" she smiles and points to a room, "Thank you" Jug says and I smile at her. We walk through the door and I see the doctor there, she had to be mid-fifties and was smiling at us really kindly, "Ms. Cooper?" she asks, "That's me!" I smile, "Great have a seat" she says, me and Jug both sit down on the bed thing and she stands in front of us with some check board or something, "So what seems to be the problem?" she asks, "I think I might be pregnant, I haven't had my period for about 3 months, and my mom said it was fine so I didn't worry, but now I'm here myself I said I'd book an appointment" I explain, "Okay, so we'll run a few tests and see what's up". They ran about four tests and now the doctor left the room and me and Jug are sitting in silence waiting, not awkward silence though, a nice silence, the doctor came back into the room, "Uh Ms.Cooper, I'm afraid we have some bad news..."
