Chapter 15 - I'm Here

Betty's POV

"Dad?" I say hesitant,
"Yes Betty, it's me" the voice replied,
"B-but..no..you're dead"
"No Betty, I'm not, I couldn't live with you're mother anymore, she was crazy and if I left her I was sure she'd kill me, so I decided to fake my death"
"You broke our hearts dad, what do you even want?"
"I was informed by Cheryl Blossom, on her twitter, about you and the Jones boy, I refuse, I worked so hard to make you perfect now you're running around with a trashy serpent"
"NO, Shut it dad, if anyone was crazy it was you, upsessed with making us perfect, and you left, You DO NOT decide who I get to love"
"Betty, once I found out I took ownership of the ghoulies, and they would love to take out the Serpent King"
"What exactly are you implying dad"
"If you don't leave that Boy, we will kill him"
"NO DAD, THAT IS NOT YOU'RE DECISION TO MAKE, YOU OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER, CAN'T MAKE ME GIVE UP THE PERSON I LOVE, Oh my god, I love him so damn much dad and you will not make me stop with your useless threats, now if you will kindly FUCK OFF" I hung up the phone, it was my dad, I knew it, I loved jughead, I've told him I loved him obviously, but not in a romantic way, even though we're together, I still tell him I love him as a friend and he says it to me too, but just ad friends, but tomorrow on our date I was gonna tell him, I'm gonna call Veronica to help me decide what to wear tomorrow, I decided not to tell anyone about my dad, I don't need the drama of his empty threats, I know archie and Jug would just want to go find him and I can't have that in my life, I dial Veronica's number into my phone, I tell her about how I love jug and she helped me pick out a really cute outfit, after our call I got into my pyjamas and went to sleep.

Jughead's POV
After I dropped Betty off it was 11 and I was tired so I decided to go back to the trailer and get some sleep, on the ride back I worried about Betty about what she told me, how messed up her family was, I thought she had the perfect home life, but now I can see righy through it, the fake smiles and all the great times she had with her dad, I don't know if they were real or not, but I believe they weren't, my family used to be like that, my dad was a drunk and would always come home late out if his head, my mom got sick of it about a year back and took my little sister jelly bean and herself to Tolido, I convinced my dad to get clean, and he did and now I couldn't be happier, but it sometimes haunts over me how my mom took JB but not me, like I had something wrong with me and couldn't bring me, so left me with the drunken dad, but maybe she thought I could get him to go clean, I don't really know to be honest but I knew that I felt for Betty. I pulled up to the trailer park and my friends were stood outside sweet peas trailer laughing, "Hey guys" I said walking over to them, "Hey" they said, "What's so funny?" I asked, "We're laughing at this donkey video on fangs phone,"Here watch it" he said smoking his cigarette, handing me the phone, I watched the video and burst into fits of laughter, which
only made them laugh harder, it was a donkey snorting it's water up its nose
it was weird but hilarious,
"Where you been anyway Jones" Toni asked, "I was with Betty", "Ohhhh, Jug's in love" fangs said and they all bursted out laughing, "Not funny guys" I said trying to hold in my laughter, "Yeah, not funny at all, it's just really true" Sweet pea said and they all cracked up again, I walked away and waited until I was in my trailer and bursted out laughing, my phone went off,

Me: What are you talking about Toni
Fangs: We saw you laughing Jug
Sweet pea: Yeah, you loser
Me: You have no proof.
Toni: *picture of jug laughing*
Me: alright I've been caught, you're all psycho stalkers
Fangs: Whatever, you should go get some beauty sleep for you're date with you're soulmate
Me: How do you guys know about that
Toni:Seriously Fangs
Sweet pea: Ah well, it doesn't matter how we know we're your best friends, now go Prince charming, go get some sleep and you can go sweep the princess of her feet.
Me: Lol, whatever guys, night love you all
Toni: Night Jug, Love you
Sweet pea: Night, you're all so cheesy
Fangs: don't worry he loves us, night Jug love you.
Sweet pea: 'voice message' *mocks Betty's voice* "Oh goodnight my little squishm boyfriend I love you so much handsome! Mwaaahhh"
Me: OMG, sweet pea you are so weird, bye.
