The South Side Serpents

I'm a serpent by blood my dad is serpent King but while he's gone he left tall boy in charge, and boy was that a mistake, I love the serpents they're my family and I would do anything for them but with Tall boy in charge its been bad, more people have gotten arrested and he's got more of us out dealing drugs, I always refuse if he asks me and I tell my friends to do the same, he can't boot me or anyone for that matter if they don't because I would tell my dad, but he's offering a lot of money to the people that are dealing for him and if I told my dad would kick anyone who dealt for him out which is unfair so unless he kicks someone out I keep out of it.

As I walk to the wyrm all I can think about is Betty, why did she run away from me, did I do something wrong?
I don't know, I just have to forget it and think of a way to ask her out on a date.

"Hey Jughead" I hear toni shout from behind me,
I haven't seen them in a while I've been so busy in school, so I'm really excited to see them
"Toni!" I shout with excitement as I turn around to face her,
I see sweet pea and fangs appear from behind her,
I'm horrified as I see sweet peas face, "Sweet pea what the hell happened your face" I say angrily, "I was jumped Jones by some ghoulie" sweet pea said sounding pissed, "What the hell! Why? ", I said
"The goulies found out about some of the serpents dealing and they weren't happy about it to say the least" Toni explained
"Let's go inside guys, so we can talk" Fangs said while looking around him,
"Agreed" I say
We make our way inside to talk about what happened to sweet pea.

          💞Betty's POV💞

On my walk home I think about jughead how he's probably so confused I just ran with no reason, no explanation "DANG IT" I shout that could have been my one chance to be a good friend, I'm so confused, do I like him?, do I just want to be friends so many thoughts and no explanations. I hear someone walking towards me I don't know who it is.
"Hey, are you okay I thought I heard you shout?" said the anonymous guy he seemed nice, he even looked kind of familiar "sorry, not trying to be rude or anything but do I know you" I say, "Yeah, sorry you must be confused I'm friends with Jughead and archie, they told me about you, Betty right? He said,
"Yeah, and you are?" I say
"Oh yeah sorry I'm Kevin"
"Oh cool you seem nice"
"So Betty this might seem weird but want to grab dinner with me at pops?" He asks me, "Uh I'm sorry I dont really know who you are and I'm not really looking for a date right now" I say
"Oh....Oh sorry no you're not my type I'm Gay!"
"Oh omg I'm so sorry" I say apologising, "hey no don't be, so what do you say to dinner?"
"sure I don't see why not"

Me and this guy are at pops and I can already tell we're going to be great friends!

"So you said you were friends with jughead"
"Yeah why" he says sipping his milkshake
"Well I don't know he's cute I guess" I say
"OMG You totally have the hots for jughead don't you" he says excited,
"Well I don't really know to be honest, he's cute and funny and stuff but, I don't know" I say
"Well I think you two would be so cute" he says
We both laughed at that

Me and Kevin really hit it off I feel like we'll be great friends!

        Jugheads POV🐍

Toni, sweet pea and fangs told me everything that happened, it made me so mad, these people are my best friends and they're hurt because of Tall boy.
"Well guys let's meet some day this week to come up with something to get Tall boy taken down" I say angrily
"yeah" they all agree
We hug it out and I leave for home

              Betty's POV

Kevin gave me Jugheads number and told me to call him I've been wanting to ever since I got back but haven't got the courage, Kevin really helped me see that I did like jughead tonight and though I'll never tell jughead I can always be friends with him.
Okay I'm gonna call him
Breath Betty breath
I dial his number and wait for an answer

             Jugheads POV

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket it says unknown caller
I answer it and hear a familiar voice
"Hey jug, Kevin gave me your number and I thought I'd call is that alright" she says sweetly
"Yeah, that's totally fine" I say back
"Oh thanks, and Jug let me explain why I ran earlier"
"Oh so you've given me a nickname now have you" I respond
"Yes I have" she says smugly
"And Betts you can explain why you ran earlier"
"Oh yeah sorry, I forgot my mom wanted me back earlier and I forgot to tell you"
"Oh that's fine" I respond

We talk for hours laughing and joking and then we go to sleep.

Hi guys I know this is short and stuff but I would love some feed back on how you're liking the story so far and don't worry there will be a lot of twists and turns as I get on with it this is just the start and the back story of how they met and stuff!
