Chapter 47

Jughead's POV
It's been a week since we found out about Betty being pregnant and I have been really protective of her recently, she hates it but I can't help it, I'm so excited about the baby but I'm also scared, she's at a way higher risk at miscarriage and I feel if that happened it would break us. "Good morning!" Betty chirps, "Someone's in a good mood" I smile and she nods, "Yep, because your phone rang and it was just your dad so I picked it up and he said Jellybean was acting normal again, I told him not to send her to school today" she explains and I smile, "So what now?" I ask, "Now we go to Mr Honey and call him out" she says, "But won't he just do it again?" I ask, "No, because if we threaten to call the board of education on him he won't do it again" she says, "And if he says we have no proof?" I ask, "We do, we have that doctor buddles or whatever's number" she says, I pick her up and kiss her, "You are a genius" I say setting her down and she giggles, "So let's eat breakfast and go?" she asks and I cringe, "Should you be coming? I mean I know you're good at this and all but stress is bad for the baby" I say and she has a mad look on her face and I am suddenly scared, she takes a deep breath and I brace myself, but her face softens, "I'll be more stressed if I'm not there" she reasons, and I realise she's right, "You're right, I'm sorry but I'm going to be more protective of you" I say and she smiles softly, "Fine" she says and I smile and peck her lips, "What do you want for breakfast?" I ask, "Hmm... Banana on toast?" she asks and I screw my face up, "I can make that for you, I'm just gonna have cereal" I say and she laughs, "I don't know, I used to eat it all the time as a kid and I'm just really craving it" she says as I put bread in the toaster, I smile as she says cravings and turn to look at her and she is too, "Guess I'm already getting cravings" she says and I chuckle at her, "I get it" I say and she smiles, "Okay well I'm making drinks, what do you want?" she asks, "I'm going to have coffee" I say and she narrows her eyes at me, "Or I'll have what your having" I say and she smiles, "Tomato juice or milk?" she questions herself, "Milk sounds good" I answer for her, "Nah" she says and I can hear her smirk, "Let's have tomato juice" she says, I sigh and pop the toaster after pouring my cereal, "Do you want butter on this aswell?" I ask, "No thank you" she says and I take a banana and slice it, putting it on the toast, I take the plate and set it on the table then grab my bowl, "Here" Betty says and hands me a coffee cup, "Thank you" I smile, glad she gave me coffee instead "You're welcome!" she says sitting down, "Try this" she says showing me a piece of her toast, "Baby, that's gross" I say and she pouts and gives me puppy dog eyes, "Fiiinnnneeee" I whine and take a bite, "Ewww Betty how do you eat that" I say spitting it out and it goes into my cereal, she laughs and I pout, "Now my cereal is ruined" I whine and she giggles, "Maybe if you weren't acting like such a baby" she says and I pout even more, she leans over the table and pecks my lips smiling, "Better?" she asks and I nod, "Much". Once we were done breakfast and cleaned up the dishes Betty called the others to let them know the plan and get them to be a part of it, they agreed and me and Betty got in the car and drove to pick up our friends. Let's just hope this goes well.
