A/N So what do you all think so far any suggestions and or comments. This is my first story and I have many ideas and things I want to add. Enjoy!
We get to the stable and I run in and run to a black and white Horse named Arlo and hug him saying "I love you boy I'll try to keep visiting but I found a home." Martha the owner comes in and says "hey girl I thought you weren't working today." "I'm not I just um.... came to say goodbye to Arlo and you and to say thank you for allowing me to help In the stable to earn some money and allowing me to ride Arlo in show and ride him whenever I needed. I hope he finds someone else to do shows with he really enjoys them." I say as I start crying. "What do you mean? You are welcome here whenever but as you know I can only pay you 3 days a week." She says while rubbing my back. "I know but I found someone and she's going to let me live with her and it's a ways away from here so I don't know how often I'll be able to come here." I say in between sobs. "Ok hun you can come whenever you want Arlo is always here for you." She says and then hugs me. I stroke Arlo's mane and nod. I hug both Martha and Arlo and say "thank you both so much." "Wait before you go take this it's one of Arlo's horse shoes and here take this it's the first place trophy you won in the 2018 championship." I nod and gratefully take them saying "thank you."
I turn to walk out but see Hannah leaning against the doorway. "You can go to the car I actually know Martha and she's an old high school friend I'm just going to talk to her for a few minutes. I left my phone plugged into the radio so you can listen to music." I nod and get in the car holding the horse Shoe close to my chest.
(Martha and Hannah's conversation)
"Hi I actually don't know you from high school but my cousin owns a stable a block from my house could I possibly buy this horse for kacy?" Hannah asks with a shit eating grin. "Of course! Kaey has practically raised Arlo ever since he was born. His mom rejected him and she would sleep in his stall waking every 3 hours to feed him. I don't know what they would do without each other." She says quickly. "How much?" Hannah asks. "$7,500" She says. Hannah hands her the money and a slip of paper. She says "can you deliver him to this address by 7pm tonight?" Martha nods and says "thank you so much for taking kacy In she really is a wonderful girl I only live in a tiny cabin or I would have taken her in." She says while tearing up. They hug and say their goodbyes and hannah comes to the car and says let's go home.
