Kenny : U up yet?

I hadn't noticed my phone had a text notification due to me prancing around my room like a unicorn. Like a majestic, flopping, unicorn.

I had no idea what I was doing, I guess it was the Friday feeling. That's what I call it, Friday feeling. Its like when you feel excited for the end of the week.

I heard a tap on my window after I finished getting dressed, thank God I had curtains, and then my window opened. The curtains were pushed away as Kenny emerged into my room. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans. I don't know why, but I love guys in hoodie pullovers. (A/N: I do also c: I can't stop obsessing over that ;D)

"Morning, Liv. Get my text?" Kenny asked while holding up his phone.

"I got a text?" I asked with a tilt of my head. I licked my lips and picked up my phone while sticking my tongue out at him, "Well I'm awake now."

"Stop! Too cute reactions!" Kenny playfully looked away and put his hands on my face, I guess to make me stop making a dace or whatever.

"Your hands smell like oranges," I mumbled behind his hands, then picking them up and lifting them off my face.

"So, breakfast. Then school. Afterrrr," Kenny said while dragging out the 'r' and ruffling my hair. Great, now I had to brush it again. Thanks, Kenny! :D

"Afterrrr?" I mocked while getting a brush to straighten out the tangles.

"You come over to my house and sing with me," Kenny said while gently taking the brush from my hands and stepping behind me to do the work.

It felt nice to have him brush my hair, but I was too stunned by his plan. Singing? In front of someone? Now? That'll happen in like, a few million years.

"Liv?" Kenny said while breaking me from my thoughts.

"Uh, yeah?"

"So, you gonna do it?" Kenny was finished with my hair, but he kept letting the brush stroke through strand after strand.

"Uh... Sure?" I told Kenny, mostly to myself.  I guess I could do it... It worth a shot. Maybe it could cure my stage fright. I dunno, but I always had stage fright. I was afraid of criticism and teasing, so I never really explored out if my comfort zone.

"That's great! So its a date for later today," Kenny said calmly while stroking my hair. Wait. Did I hear him right? Date? What... "You're hair is really soft. It smells like... fruit?"

I turned my head and saw Kenny smelling my hair. It made me laugh a little and then he let go of the group of hair he had in his hand. Its sort of weird seeing a guy smell your hair, but I let that feeling slide for a while...

We walked down the stairs and my parents almost stopped what they were doing when they saw Kenny.

"Uh, uh. Window!" I shouted when my mom had a questioning look. My dad only smiled and shook Kenny's hand. My mom nudged me and winked, making me shake my head rapidly. I knew what she was thinking, I knew what they were both thinking.

"Bye, mom! Bye, dad!" I waved. My dad got in his car while we walked out, and waved. I felt sad he was leaving. But he comes back. He always does.

"So, wanna go into a cafe nearby? They have pretty good muffins!" Kenny suggested while we walked towards the school.

"Uh, sure!" I said while thinking back. Realizing I didn't have breakfast, I had a more certain desire to eat some food.

We arrived in the cafe, some girls from school glared at me, and sat down at a nearby table. We both joked around, earning more glares from the girls, and then decided to get stuff.
