Luke

"Mom, I told you I was sorry! Go back to work, please. I'm okay, I didn't want to bother you while you were at work so I called Calum. I was just gonna watch more movies anyway, okay? I'm okay." Luke hugged his mom tightly with the bandages wrapped on his hands, he could easily take them off in an hour.

"No, I- alright, whatever. You better stay home though, so help me I will track your phone." She rose her eyebrows at Luke's affection towards her but then tapped her head waiting for him to kiss it before she left.

"I still want a lip piercing, you know?" He brought up again. He figured it'd be a good time considering his mother felt guilty and he could possible take advantage of her.

"Not that easy, Hemmo. I don't know if I'd like the feeling of metal hitting my head anyway." She said while putting her purse over her shoulder.

"It's worth a shot."

"I'm sure it is. Now, I'm leaving. I love you, Luke. Be safe." And she shut the door.

"I love you too," he whispered seconds after she walked out of the house. Luke left the room, heading to his. On the walls was a lighter than navy color, all of his blue paint was covered in fingerprints left by memories. He took a look at the light coming in through his door and bunched up a blanket to block it out. Luke turned out the lamp in the corner of his basement bedroom. It was dark but it was also peaceful, the room wasn't spotless but there weren't clothes scattered everywhere either. He had the entire basement to himself, there was a small bathroom, a small tv in the corner where a beanbag chair had sat in front of it with multiple cords leading to whatever game systems in the area, and a bunkbed covered in big blankets that he enjoyed the warmth of. A big area filled with lots of useless items, darkness, and peace. He unwrapped his hands allowing cold air to hit the wounds, it felt nice but bumps soon covered his arms. Luke wanted his phone to text Calum and remember throwing it on the bottom bunk.

The cool metal from the boarder of his iPhone touched his shaky hands. There were no missed calls or texts and that wasn't exactly surprising.

"Calum, Calum, Calum," he mumbled remembering thats why he got on his phone to begin with, "ah, Calum." Luke typed a small, two word message with no capital letters.

'come over.'

If Luke wasn't allowed to go anywhere then he would bring people to him, only Calum that is. Calum read the message as soon as it was sent as if he was going to text Luke soon.

'Almost there x'

Calum's texts showed much more personality than Luke's did but Luke had butterflies in his stomach knowing the other boy way on his way. He headed to the bathroom wondering how he was going to actually use it.

"I'll just ask Calum," Luke sighed and sat down in the middle of his dark room and soon laid down waiting for Calum to come over.

Ashton

Ashton woke in the middle of the night from a terror, he had dreams of the day his father left and heard his mother repeating "it's your fault you dumbfūck" in his head. The simple sentence pounded his head, he had a terrible pain from it. He tried to catch he breath but he began hyperventilating and a small amount of sweat beaded under his arm. Ashton hurried to the bathroom and turned on the lights pulling up his sleeves and pulling off his sweatpants. He stared at all of his scars, he hadn't been hurting himself as much. His arm was slightly bumpy from the freshest wounds and small scars but he traced all the ones he could regretting every bit of it. The action was calming at first but his vision got cloudy worrying that he was now impossible to love. Ashton blinked but soon after a fat tear rolled down his cheek, he had to stop this.

He had to stop his habit, it was simple but it was simpler to just end his life and bother no one anymore.

He always had a plan in mind,

A quick plan that would end everything,

Simple,

Easy,

Gone.
