Y/n

It's hard when your favorite sibling is never home and always away due to her job. Then, your other sister has a family to take care of and the third one is traveling the world with some friends. So, that leaves me at the bottom of the barrel. Mom and Dad are barely home, so it's always just the dog and I. They never invite me to go see Alex's games and she doesn't invite me either. When the team was in Lyon, I was taking summer school. The last time I saw Alex play was the 2015 women's world cup.

The only real reason why I played soccer is so that I had a slight chance of being called up to her level and I can finally see my sister. She never returns my calls, and always misses my texts. The only time I see her is Christmas, but she probably won't be coming this year because she's pregnant.  I didn't even find out from her! I saw her on fucking sports center. As usual, she didn't answer my call, and I swore to that day that I would stay out of Alexandra Patrica Morgan's life until I reached my death bed.

That's when I dropped soccer and picked up all of the drugs. I started to deny that Alex was my sister and that I was even related to her at all. The drugs and drinks helped a lot with forgetting, but I couldn't forgive her.

I stopped coming home and stopped talking to any of my sisters. So, when Alex finally came back to Diamond Bar, California, I avoided her at all costs.

(One year later)

Alex

"Hey Jeri, do you know where Y/n went?" I ask my older sister who just shrugs and continues to play with my new daughter. I sigh and look for her one last time before I finally pull my phone out to call her. It starts to ring, and ring, and ring, until it stops. "Hello?" I hear my younger sister slur and gasp.

I quickly walk into my old room and shut the door. "Y/n where the hell are you??" I hiss and she just laughs. "Now you want to return my calls?" She asks a bit harshly and I narrow my eyes. "I'm coming to get you, text me your location." I say and all I hear is a simple, "No." Come from her. "What did you say??" I ask and she laughs. "So you want to care about me now?" She asks and I shake my head, "Y/n, I am your sister! Of course I care about you." I say sympathetically and she scoffs.

"I have no sister."

I hear her disconnect, and I don't move. Did she just disown me? She can't do that! We're family! We're blood!! I walk downstairs and mom is preparing food for Christmas morning. "Mom where's Y/n??" I ask with slight concern in my voice. She shrugs too and keeps doing what she was doing. "Mom!" I shriek and she looks up at me again. "Alex, your sister is never home and doesn't tell us anything anymore." Is all she says and my jaw drops. "Do you hear yourself??" I ask and shake my head. "You make me sick. I'm going to find my sister." I say and grab the keys to the car.

She just shrugs again and lets me go. I walk out to the car and start to drive around town trying to remember any places I used to see kids drinking at 3 pm. That's when I see the tall blonde dancing in a crowded area that I assumed was a party. I pull over and get out of the car. I run over to the scene and see her taking a needle. My eyes widen as I watch her inject herself with something. Something that couldn't be good.

We make eye contact and her eyes widen. I start to walk towards her and she starts to run the other way. I push through everyone as I keep my eyes on her. Suddenly, I see her body fall and I almost scream. I'm now pushing people over and trying to get to my sister. "Y/n!" I'm yelling, until I see the girl laying on the floor, lifeless. I run to her side and try to shake her, and she doesn't wake up.

I knew that nobody was going to call an ambulance, so I picked her up over my shoulder and left this outdoor "party".

I reach my car and set her in the back, before I literally speed to the hospital. I didn't care if a cop was gonna pull me over, I would've kept going.

When we got there, I stopped at the pit and got my sister out. "Ma'am you can't park there!" A man yells who comes running out in navy blue scrubs. "My sister needs help!" I yell and two more doctors appear next to him. "I need a gurney and a crash cart stat!" He yells and takes my sister from me. At this point I was sobbing as I watch them bring her into a trauma room.

The nurses keep me from going in there with her, and they bring me into the lobby as I pace back and fourth. All that was on my mind was, she did this all because of me

"Come on baby sis! You can get it!" Alex yells as I go one v one against her national team teammate, Tobin Heath and her best friend. Aka our best friend now. "Let's go Y/n!" Cheney yells as I inch closer to the middy. I cut left and go right, faking her out and passing the ball into the goal.

"Yes!! I beat Tobin Heath!" I exclaim and Alex runs to me and picks me up and throws me over her shoulder. "Lex! Put me down!" I yell at her while laughing. "That wasn't fair! I wasn't ready!" Tobin whines, but I stick my tongue out at her. "No need to whine Tobs, you lost to a thirteen year old." Hope says and pats her back, which makes everyone around us laugh. "Hey! It's not my fault her sister is the Alex Morgan and she's literally a soccer prodigy!" She defends, but it doesn't help as the other girls still make fun of her.

"Alright girls! Bring it in! Y/n it's time for you to go and watch." Coach Ellis says and Alex finally puts me down. "Don't forget that you owe me ice cream Heath." I say and point at her. "How could I?" She asks and we both laugh. "Meet you back at the hotel little Morgan." She says and we do our normal handshake before we part ways

I shoot up and catch my breath. A ton of doctors rush in and pull me back onto the bed. "Let me go!" I yell and kick, until I finally give up and relax onto the bed. A good looking doctor walks in and smiles at me. "Hey Y/n, I'm doctor Phillips and we had to do some brain surgery on you today. It seems that you had an overdose on cocaine and it traveled through your veins and rushed to your head, we had to do emergency surgery, and it was a success." He says and I groan. "My head hurts." I whine and he nods. "That'll happen after brain surgery." He informs me and I just nod my head.

"Now there is someone who wants to see you..." He trails off and opens the door. Alex walks in and I start to shake my head. "No, no, no! Get out!" I yell, and her eyes widen. Like I said earlier, I never want to see Alex Patricia Morgan in my live ever again.
