"SO, WHERE were you?" Lucifer asks an approaching God as Maisie sits nearby, reading a book and counting down the seconds until Sam and Dean promised to return from the store. One second over and Maisie had promised the pair that they'd have a pair of beat-up celestial beings chained in the dungeon when they returned.
"That's a... long story. How do you feel? I healed you." God replies.
"Mm. Yeah. Didn't ask you to." Snides the devil. Maisie looks to her watch. 20 seconds.

"Son, be reasonable."

"One cosmic Band-Aid on my knee and what, you think we're, we're even now?" Maisie looks up from her book for a moment to watch the scene. Lucifer, sitting at the small incline from the war room to the library, God standing by the war room table. She starts making a plan of attack on how to take the two down simply to shut them both up without being hurt herself. "Is it time for us to go play catch in the yard?"
The sound of the door opening makes Maisie sigh in relief. "Thank Go- Fuck." She mutters, shutting her book and throwing it on the table to watch her family's approach.

"Screw you." Lucifer insults his father.

"Guys?" Dean questions.

"Hey, how's it goin' in here?" Sam adds, looking at Maisie's annoyed glance.
"They haven't stopped fighting since you left. I was this close..." Maisie gestures the minuscule length with her thumb and pointer fingers. "...to jamming knives in my ears."
"Listen, I know I've been gone for awhile." Chuck says to Lucifer as if he hadn't heard Maisie's complaints.
"You've made this apology before..." Maisie mutters, standing up, shaking her head and helping her father and uncle unpack.

"I've missed a few... million... birthdays-"

"Yeah, and the second your apes send a distress flare, boom. Daddy's home."

"That's not what happened. "

"That is definitely what happened," Maisie protests, Dean standing on her foot.
"Hey, these apes saved your ass." Dean gestures to the three Winchesters. Lucifer narrows his eyes at Dean and snaps his fingers. Instinctively, Maisie's eyes glow as she goes to blast back in retaliation before realising nothing happened. She looks at her father and uncle confused.
"He can't hurt you." God explains before looking to Maisie. "And you can't hurt him."
"Oh, so you're controlling me now!" Lucifer protests as Maisie yells "He's the devil!"
"It's just a safeguard." He turns to Maisie. "And you need Lucifer. Consider your probation a way to control your anger."
"I don't get it. Yesterday you were telling me that I needed to control this power and the second that I start actually getting a feel for it, you block me? What the hell?"
"I haven't blocked you, just your ability to destroy anyone vital in stopping your aunt."
"No-" Maisie snaps, a light near God's head shattering. "Lucifer's Aunt. Your sister. I don't have an aunt and you are not my dad and never will be."
"Hey, guys?" Sam says cautiously. "Uh, Chuck? Lucifer... uh, Mai... Think we can try and focus here? Y'know, end of the world, common enemy, all that?" Maisie just shakes her head, crossing her arms and walking off, knowing it was either that or accidentally making something else explode.
"Enemy of my enemy is my friend," Lucifer says, closing his book and standing directly in front of Chuck. "Team Amara. Go Amara."

"You don't mean that."

"You're really not gonna say it." Lucifer shakes his head.

"He's not gonna say what?" Sam questions.
