Chapter 6~ Gettin' Ready to Par-tay!

“So what did you think?” Harry asked after we paid and exited the restaurant.

“It was good,” I said lightly. It just wasn’t the best place I have ever been, I thought to myself.

“See she didn’t like it,” Niall said. “I told you we should have went to Nandos. I blame you Liam and your senibleness.” Niall said, glaring at Liam.

“I--” I began.

“I don’t even think that is a word Niall,” Zayn interrupted. “But calm down. It’s only Alex’s first day here, we can take her to Nandos another time. “ Zayn said, putting an arm around him.

“Yeah. Cheer up little Nialler!” Louis said, pinching Niall’s cheeks. “Woohoo only one more hour till it is time to PAR-TAY!” Louis exclaimed looking down at his phone.

“Till you can party,” Niall corrected. “ I still have a couple weeks before I’m even legal.”

“Yeah. Well has that ever stopped you before?” Emma asked smiling.

“Nope. Let’s go PARTY!” Niall screamed and threw his arm up into the air.

Everyone else joined in Niall’s cheers laughing and throwing their hands up into the air, except for me. I wasn’t really looking forward to partying. I had never actually been to one of those kinda parties, and from the way the rest of them were acting, I could tell that they had. I was probably going to be that one awkward girl sitting in the corner drinking her water and zoning out while everyone else was drinking and dancing like crazy. Harry had been standing in front of me and grabbed my hand forcing it to go in the air.

“Wooo.” He said for me. “Come on Alex. Aren’t you excited?” he questioned.

“Yeah.” I said, trying to sound as enthusiastic as the rest of them. “Wooo”

“Come on I can’t hear you!” Harry said.

Well if I wanted to be a part of their group, I guess it only makes sense that I embarrass myself with them. “WOOHOOO!” I said, surprising myself.

Harry’s eyes widened and then a huge smile spread across his face.

“Yeah! Wooohooo!! Let’s go get ready to party!” Harry said, dragging me to join the rest of the group who had started to jog back to the dorms laughing, the boys tripping and jumping over each other. What had I gotten myself into?

~Back at the School~

I pushed opened the door to my room to find it empty; Anna was probably setting up for the party by now. Emma, Niall, Jess, and Liam left us when we were walking home to go over to Anna’s parents to help set up. Apparently her family was like crazy rich and she had an outstanding house. Harry said it was one of the houses that would host all the big parties like this. They had a pool in the back and a huge spot where the DJ could set up and everyone could dance.

I went down and set my shoes on the bed and took out my phone; I dialed Ben’s number and he answered on the third ring.

“Hey Benji! How are you?” I asked.

“Great! Me and Aunt Sandra just finished baking more cookies but this time they were peanut butter!” I could hear the smile in his voice. He sounded like he really enjoyed being with Aunt Sandra, but it was only the first day and I knew he would start to miss Dad soon.

“Really? I bet they were really good! I wish I could try them!” I said, dropping onto my bed and resting my head against my pillow. “So how are you getting along with Aunt Sandra? Are you guys doing anything fun tonight?”
