“I’m so sorry about last night,” I told Harry again. Harry was still shirtless, not that he seemed to mind, and stood across from me leaning against the island. We were all gathered in Anna’s kitchen, except for Liam and Jess, because it turned out that after my little accident, they decided it was time to leave. Apparently, Jess wasn’t really up for partying considering her predicament, and Liam was happy enough to drop her off at her dorm. Emma told me that they probably just used that as an excuse to go back to Jess’ dorm to watch a movie and make out.

Emma was flipping pancakes and frying bacon for all of us to have for breakfast, while Louis was bent over, with a coffee in his hands, closing his eyes. I could tell that Louis was really hungover just by the way he was standing. All that was missing out of the group was Zayn, but Niall explained that he was probably in some room still sleeping.

I was pretty hung over too even though I probably ended up drinking the least last night considering I passed out around 9, and according to the others, the party lasted until 3 in the morning. Allegedly, after Harry and I left, they couldn’t stand the smell of puke and went downstairs to dance. My head was pounding, but I tried to ignore it.

“Really, it’s fine Alex, you don’t need to apologize anymore.” He poured me a cup of coffee into a red mug and handed it to me. I wrapped my hands around the cup, enjoying the heat that radiated off of it, warming up my cold hands.

“But I feel so bad.” I told him.

“It happens to everyone once in their life,” Anna smiled. “I mean when I first got drunk I came home and threw up all over my mom.” Anna reminded me of one of those preppy girls I had gone to highschool with that were optimistic about everything.

“By the way, how are you feeling?” Harry asked me.

“Good, it’s just my head is killing me.” I started to rub my temples, hoping the headache would disappear.

“Here take these.” Anna said walking out of the room and returning with two white pills in her hand. “It will help.”

“Thanks,” I swallowed them along with a sip of my coffee. I made my way over to the small wooden table located near the living room, and took seat across from Niall. I pushed my coffee cup to the middle of the table and then rested my head down.

“The first time is always the worst,” a thick irish accent said. I looked up at Niall who was smiling down at me.

“Well I won’t ever find out because I’m never drinking again,” I said truthfully, putting my head back down on the table.

“I know how bad it is, I’ve been through it too. But you can’t let one hangover prevent you from ever drinking again!” He exclaimed, flattening the little blonde tufts of hair that were originally sticking up all over the place. Well that was easy for him to say, he is Irish, probably used to drinking, and didn’t have a recovering alcoholic as a father.

“I know, that’s what everyone had been telling me,” I mumbled into my arms. I picked my head back up off the table and looked over at Niall grimacing.

“We’ll they’r--” Niall began.

“Breakfast is ready!” Emma announced, interrupting him.

“Finally, I’m starving!” Niall said rising from the kitchen chair. He grabbed a plate and piled six pancakes onto it along with about eight pieces of bacon.

“Are you going to have some?” Harry asked me. I looked over at the pancake from where I was sitting at the table. Usually, I love pancakes, but in my current state, they just didn’t look that appetizing.
