05 - The rise of Voltron: The castle of lions

Alyssa's pov

Once we went through the wormhole we started experiencing turbulence. I felt someone's hand make it's way around my waist pulling me towards them, I look up to see it was Keith who was closing his eyes gritting his teeth I turned back around to see that we were now in another galaxy the constellations wern't familiar. 

"Whoa. That was..." Lance said but then Hunk started vomiting inside the lion.

"So sorry—" Hunk apologised and continued to throw up.

"I'm just surprised it took this long." Pidge said.

"I don't recognize any of these constellations. We must be a long, long way from Earth." Shiro pointed out.

"The Lion seems to want to go to this planet. I think... I think it's going home." Lance said looking towards the Planet we were heading towards. We entered the Planet's atmosphere and the turbulence was worse than when we went through the wormhole. I realized that Keith was holding me tighter as everyone huddled closer to Lance. 

 "Guys, personal space! Hunk, your breath is killing me." Lance yelled.

"Um, is it just me or is anyone else having second thoughts about flying through a mysterious ? Why are we listening to a robotic lion anyway?" Hunk said.

"It got us away from that alien warship, didn't it?" Lance countered.

"I don't know if you noticed, but we're in an alien warship." Keith said as everyone looked at his hand that was on my waist we looked at each other and both turned red and turned away from each other.

"Oh, are you scared?" Lance said smirking.

"With you at the helm? Terrified." Keith answered his face turning back to normal.

"All right, knock it off! No one's happy to be in this situation, but we're here now. If we want to get through this, we've got to do it together." Shiro said.

"So, what do we do?" Pidge asked.

"First, we find out where we're headed. Lance?" Shiro answered.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. The Lion's not talking to me anymore. ... Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Shh! Listen. I think I hear something." Lance said.

"I'm hearing it, too." Keith confirmed.

"Yeah, same." I agreed.

"It's, uh—It's kind of a—a high-pitched squeal?" Hunk said.

"Come on, Lance!" Shiro, Keith and Hunk said grimacing at Lance farting.  ; - ;

"But seriously, there's a Castle up ahead." Lance said.

Everyone looked out towards the castle amazed and exited the lion and it stands up.

"Oh no! Oh no! I knew it was going to eat us! No!" Hunk said then the blue lion roared causing the castle doors to open and we all walked in.

"Hellooo?" Hunk's voice echoed while everyone stares at him, startled as Hunk just shrugs.

A beam of light suddenly activates and the computer started speaking, "Hold for identity scan." Then the crystal torches light up a path. 

"I guess we're going that way." Pidge said.

We all walked down the torch lit hallway and Hunk voice echoed as he called out, "Hello? ... Hellooo?" 

"Where are we?" Lance asked.

"A room." I replied causing Lance to glare at me.

"It's some kind of control room." Pidge answered ignoring my comment.

Suddenly, 2 pods rose from the floor with people inside.

"Are these guys... dead?" Hunk asked, I walked closer to Hunk and the pod.

"Don't think so?" I said tapping on the glass.

"Alyssa, don't do that." Keith scolded me as I stuck my tongue out at him making Hunk and Pidge chuckle.

One of the pods open to reveal a girl with tan skin, curly white hair and blue/violet eyes.

"Father!" The girl gasped and falls out of the pod. Lance catches her and looks down at her figure as red rises to his cheeks. 

Third person pov

"Hello." Lance said to Allura flirtatiously.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Allura asked.

"I'm Lance. And you're right here in my arms." Lance said still using a flirty tone.

"Your... ears." Allura said to Lance.

"... Yeah?" Lance asked.

"They're hideous. What's wrong with them?" she asked unimpressed, Alyssa snorted as Keith smiled at her but his straight face returned but not before Shiro could see.

'He's actually smiling!' Shiro thought to himself but was interrupted by Lance's complain.

"Nothing's wrong with them! They heard exactly what you said about them!"

"Who are you? Where is King Alfor? What are you doing in my Castle?" Allura said restraining Lance by pulling his ear. Alyssa took her phone out and started taking pictures as Keith looked at her raising a brow.

"Blackmail." She whispered smirking.

 "A giant blue lion brought us here! That's all we know!" Lance answered Allura's question.

"How do you have the Blue Lion? What happened to its Paladin? What are you all doing here? Unless... How long has it been?" Allura questioned.

"We don't know what you're talking about. Why don't you tell us who you are? Maybe we can help." Shiro said.

"I am Princess Allura of Planet Altea. I've got to find out where we are and how long we've been asleep." Allura said walking towards the console, she activated it by placing her hands on the orbs; a screen appears.

"Okay, that's how that works." Pidge said to himself

Coran jumped out of the other pod and started to argue with Lance.

"It can't be..." Allura said horrified.

"What is it?" Coran asked worried.

"We've been asleep for 10,000 years!" Allura responded.

"Planet Altea and all of the planets in our solar system have been destroyed. Coran, Father is gone. Our entire civilization..." Allura started sounding like she was on the verge of tears but grew to be enraged, "Zarkon!"

 "Zarkon...?" Shiro repeated.

"He was the King of the Galra. A vile creature and enemy to all free people." Allura explained.

"I remember now... I was his prisoner." Shiro said.

"He's still alive? Impossible!" Allura stated.

"I can't explain it, but it's true. He's searching for a super weapon called Voltron." Shiro said.

"He's searching for it because he knows it's the only thing that can defeat him, and that's exactly why we must find it before he does." Allura explained.
