A/N: I'm pretty sure I only have five chapters left of this story. Would you be interested in a third story about them?
It was around seven thirty when Lauren and I decided to go home and since I take her to school I dropped her off back home. "So how are things?" I asked softly.
She shrugs "I'm not sure. I mean they haven't been awful but they haven't exactly been nice either. They've been ignoring me honestly." She tells me. "And how do you feel about that?" I asked. "Truthfully, I'm actually ok with it. I mean if they ignore me they won't say hurtful things and honestly I'm fine with that." She said. "I'm ok with being ignored by them."
I've never heard of someone being happy about being ignored, but I get it. Lauren's parents were awful to her and if she doesn't have to deal with that everyday then I'm also fine with that. I just really want to her to be happy.
Pulling into her driveway I parked the car and got out with Lauren and walked her to the door. "I had fun today Lo." I spoke softly. Turning to me she smiled before gently pressing her lips to mine. Placing my hands on her hips I kissed back as I enjoyed the feeling of her lips on mine.
"Lauren Michelle!"
Pulling away Lauren rolled her eyes. "Yes mom?" She asked dully. Her mother glared at her. "Get inside her right now and go get washed up for dinner." Clara hissed. Lauren nods before turning to me and kissing my cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow D." She says. I nodded "see you later Lo." I waved bye before heading back to my car, getting in and driving off.
Arriving back at home I said hello to my parents before heading to my room and getting ready for bed. Today was pretty interesting but good. I think Lauren and I are close to taking the next step in our relationship and I couldn't be happier. I mean she's such a great girl that I can't help but think about how wonderful she. I'm definitely falling for this girl.

The car ride to school the next was pretty good. Things were quite but that's nothing new. Lauren and I don't have to talk to enjoy each other's company. We have a good time nonetheless.
"My parents want you over for dinner on Friday." Lauren spoke softly.
I glanced at her as I pulled in to my parking spot. "Why?" I asked. She bits her lip as she looked at me. "I might have told them that we've been seeing each other for a while now." She said. I nodded "and they want to meet me why again?" I asked. Lauren shrugs "I don't really know. They said they wanted to see if you were good to me but I think they have other plans." She said.
"So you think it's a setup?" I questioned as I got out of the car.
She nodded "yeah I think they're just trying to get to you." She said bitterly. I gently locked our hands together as I stood in front of her. "Hey, Lo I like you. A lot actually and nothing no one says will ever change my mind about you." I said. "I like you babe and I'm willing to have dinner with your parents to prove them wrong." Lauren smiled and hugged me tightly. "Thanks D. I really appreciate that." She whispered. I kissed the top of her head. "No problem babe."
