PART THREE•CHAPTER SIX

-6 years later-
I'm twenty six and Cane is forty six. He's still good looking though. He's my silver fox. I know it's gross dating someone twenty years older but we're in love. I love him lots. During the honeymoon I got pregnant with Cane's babies. We gave birth to a beautiful girl and a handsome boy. Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Our Daughter is 5 and our son is 6. "Mommy thanksgiving is tomorrow! I can't wait to meet everyone!" This would be our first thanksgiving because we been keeping it on the low cause all the deaths and Zayne. We don't want paparazzi. The last thing we need is to get nagged by news reporters. Since all that happened. I remember as my mom got older people started talking to her less and less. No calls, no company, no visitors, no mail. Not even birthday cards. And now here I am. My mom is in a better place now. Apparently she had a heart attack but I don't care what they say. I think Zayne killed her off too. Now all I have is my husband , daughter and son. I'm thankful for everyone and lucky to be alive today. Aww" "group hug!" Cane said. We all hug
-The next day-
"I'll take care of the turkey. You just keep Anna and Alex busy." Cane said.
-3 hours later-
Knock knock knock knock-knock knock
"I got it!" I said making my way to the front door. "I'm so glad everyone came." I said. Carlos, Stacey, my dad, Brenda, Dirk's dad, and Nick all walk in. "The turkey is going to be out in a few minutes. Happy thanksgiving everyone!" Everyone gets comfortable. "I just got the turkey out of the oven sweetheart, I'll take it from here. Happy thanks giving by the way." Cane said. He kisses me on my lips. "I'm going to make conversation so nobody gets bored. I love you." Cane said. "I love you too." I said as he left the living room. Anna walks in. "Mommy, they are all waiting for you." She said. We are all together. Sitting in the dining room. We prayed and started to say what we're thankful for. We all gather around and eat.
-Fifteen minutes later-
We all jumped at the sound of someone who busted out door open and then slammed it shut. I hear it lock. I hear a familiar voice...
Anonymous: NOBODY MOVE!
Zayne walks in pointing his gun at everyone.

WELL FUCK.

"If I cant have Sarah, no one can, and Sarah sick invite. I really appreciate it." Zayne takes Anna from us and points a gun at her neck. "Now where does mommy keep her money? If anyone moves or speaks I will kill you all and end you! Don't make things more difficult than they have to be!" He leads Anna and Alex into a separate room. Cane stops me from screaming no by putting his hand on my mouth. I try to grab Anna but I can't reach her. Maybe Cane thought that If we listen to Zayne and keep quiet he won't shoot anyone. That's not the case. Deep down I know everyone is doomed either way. Or at least he would shoot someone if he wanted to. Zayne heard me gasp before I try to scream. He turns around and narrows his eyes at me as he shrugged. He looks like he gave up on his plan. Or at least plan A. He laughs. "Your time is up old man." He said pointing his gun at Cane. Before firing he shoots Dirk's dad instead. BANG. Then his eyes moved to the rest of the room. BANG! BANG BANG! It was one gunshot to the head per person. Anna starts crying, Alex looks scared too. Everyone's heads fall into their plates causing food and blood to get everywhere. Cane makes a fist and stands up from his seat. I stand up from my seat too. Cane looks like he's gonna throw a punch. "Goodnight" Zayne said. "NO!" I screamed. BANG! He shot Cane in the chest. Cane falls to the floor. "Now we can be one big happy family Sarah! Me you and the kids! It's okay now! We're okay!" Zayne said chuckling. "You just have to cooperate." Zayne said putting the gun to my throat. "I RATHER DIE THAN BE WITH YOU!" I screamed. I hear the click of him reloading his gun. "You made the wrong decision, Sarah. I'm disappointed in you, but as you wish." He pulls the trigger. BANG! The last thing I see before blacking out is Zayne's hazel eyes. I fall to the floor next to Cane. My hand lands on top of his hand.
-Zayne's POV-
I think I'm gonna kill myself now. After all-Sarah is gone so I have no reason to live. Unless...
I put the gun to the kids head. "If you say anything you're dead you little shit!" I said to her. I hit her on the head with a lamp causing her to become unconscious, then I wack the other kid in the face with my gun. I make a run for it leaving the kids alive. I escape just before I hear sirens. I can't get caught. At least not yet. I need to kill everyone Sarah ever associated with. Until then...I can't peacefully live. I drive away. Planning who my next victims will be.
-Julian's POV-
Me and my partner Derrick bust the door down. "Put your hands where I can see them!" I screamed. I get my walkie-talkie out as Derrick checks everyone's pulses. He shakes his head looking at the floor with a frown. "Good evening. This is officer Julian reporting a homicide from 521 on Nightshade avenue. We have several dead bodies with gunshot wounds and two victims who are still alive! They seem unconscious. Please send backup and the detectives over, and several ambulances. I need you to rush over here. ASAP!" I said "honey you're safe now." Derrick said to the two helpless kids who were passed out on the floor.
