How we met and how everything started in the first place...
I hope you enjoy!
(September 8th, 2015)Greetings, I'm Sarah, I'm twenty years old, it's the fifth day of college and we are in fall, where the sun shines and the trees shiver in the chilly crisp air. We are only in September but the October weather seems to have came early this year, the trees are orange, the sun is bright, there's a thin layer of fog in the air, and the air is crisp and cold. "Hey Zack!" "Hey Sarah, how are you?" He pulled me in and passionately kissed me on the lips. "Get a room you guys!" My best friend Brenda said. I laughed. "Brenda you scared me!" Said Zachary. "I thought you were a teacher!" I said as she giggled. "I didn't know you guys ditch too." Said Brenda. "We do" said Zachary. I added onto what he said, "a lot. Tomorrow though I might actually go to class." Brenda cracked up. "You say that every day!!!" "Well, I might actually go this time." "Ok" Brenda said. As she had a shocked face expression on."What period is it?" Zack asked. "9th." I said. (Zack's real name is Zachary but we call him Zack.) "Thank God!" "Hush, it's not over yet so don't speak too loud." The school bell rang and Brenda rolled her eyes. "Now it is!" I said, teasing her. "Shoot, I don't want to get trampled." Zack added, "Come on, go in that room until the halls clear up!" He pointed to a room cramped with musical instruments on the wall and little stations set up with head phones, electronic instruments and classical instruments. Then Brenda shouted, "Jeez it's mobbed!!!" And I shushed her. A man with black pompadour hair and with brown-black eyes in a snappy suit asked as he was polishing a violin. "May I help you?" I looked up as a sexy middle aged man said as he smiled at us. I blushed awkwardly. Zack looked like he was thinking to himself that we should get out before we get in trouble, at least that's what I thought he was thinking about. The man who was polishing the violins looked about 39-40 but was very good looking for his age, too good looking. "Shit, he's hot!" I thought to myself. All the electricity he sent down my spine just by our eyes meeting, imagine what he's like in bed... the things he can do, so many dirty thoughts are flowing through my mind. Mmmm. Brenda Nudgged me. I just realized I was staring. I'm lucky Zack didn't notice. Then breaking the silence, He spoke neutrally, "...for extra help...on music lessons. Again, no one answered him. He said, "I'm assuming that's why you're here." Zack adds, "Uh, no we just didn't want to get trampled in the halls." The man looked out the classroom door then his eyes met mine, "I see." Why do I like this guy so much? Crap! I thought, I was staring, way to go Sarah, way to go... I bet I just creeped him out. The more I hear his sexy voice, the more I lust for him. Zack, Brenda and I all turn around to leave his classroom, but before we can leave he stops us with his voice, he asks "Oh, does anyone know a Sarah who takes music, by any chance? It's just that she's been absent this whole year so far. I believe her last name is Parker." He asked. "Oh shit! That's me!" I thought. Before anyone could say anything, Brenda grabbed my hand and raised it for me, "Right here!" She said. "Yeah, that's me..." I said, like a shyly. The man smiled at me as his eyes locked with mine. I can feel my face turning red. "Why am I blushing? Whatever..." I thought to myself. "I'll need you to come with me so I can catch you up with the rest of the class... do you have someone to pick you up?" I look at Brenda and Zack, Zack answers "I can't sorry, I have track today and then football practice. Sorry, you're on your own with getting home." The man looked like he was judging Zack in his head. Brenda starts to speak, "I'm going shopping today with my cousin, I'm sorry, I can't." I sigh to myself and add on, "it's fine, I'll ask my mom." I added. "Ok, see you tomorrow!" Brenda said as she waved, Zack came over and kissed me on my forehead, "Bye Sarah." Then they both left. I slowly cross my arms as the two leave the room. The man asks me, "So, Sarah, what instrument did you sign up for?" " I think I signed up for the Violin, Mr...?" The man finally realized that I still don't know his name.
"How rude of me for not introducing myself, my apologies, I'm Mr.Wilson." He shook my hand. "N-nice to meet you Mr.Wilson" "Pleasure is mine. Just to make sure, let's take a walk to the office and get your form." He holds the door open for me as he murmurs, "Ladies first" I smile at him as we start walking to the office. We were walking in silence until he spoke. "So, play any sports? In any clubs?" "I'm a dancer outside of school." "Really?" "Mhm..." "what type? Tap dancing? Ballet? Hip hop? What type?" He has some nerve to ask that question...hopefully he's not being dirty minded. "Yeah, ballet" I answer. "That's great! Very impressive, Sarah. My seven year old niece just started ballet," He says happily. "I'm just realizing how big this school is." He chuckled, "yep pretty big." He winked at me, when we made eye contact again we both put on sheepish grins. I found the paper in a folder with my name on it at the office. "Here. It says you've taken the violin, the guitar, and the piano. Also that you need help with posture, and that you need help with the violin the most." "Then I guess that's your answer..." I said. "I never in my 20 years working here had a student take all those instruments." "I've never in my 20 years met such a nice professor." Mr Wilson ran his fingers through his hair and smiled at me. "Did I say that out loud? Shoot!" "It's fine, you're really nice too." He looks happy, that's so awkward. "I know a shortcut" He opened the door for me as he led me to a storage closet. There was another door that led through what I would assume to be his office, considering there were musician posters hung on the walls and a violin hanging on the wall; with a little desk and office chair in the corner of the room. This door led to the instrument inventory which then led to the music classroom, but this way was way shorter than the way we took earlier. "Let's get started," he said with a smile. "There're no chairs here, come. Let's go to the library, I doubt anyone is there." I nodded. "Ok." "Ok, so we're going to start of by playing the violin." He gave me a violin to borrow, I placed it up by my face. "For starters make sure your standing straight up." "I'll show you, like this" I was just realizing there was only one violin, so he had to stand behind me and help me hold the fragile instrument, I have to cooperate and follow the given directions. He placed his hands on my back and straightened my posture. "Better, now place your chin on your chin rest and elevate your head up a little more, just enough that our eyes meet" I looked at the ceiling, to make him laugh. "Not that high." We both laughed together, he gave me a sexy smirk. "Perfect, I think that's set...guitar time, come. You can go sit down in that chair, and I'll grab you an acoustic." I sat patiently. "So, you're gonna sit how I am right now." I studied the way he sat. "Good." I held the guitar facing him. "Let me see how you would be positioned if you're playing the guitar. I see the problem, your hand needs to be above the sound hole and when you hold a guitar you want to support it with the lower arm, not under your arm. Your other hand should be holding the neck of the guitar."Mhm," I nod. The only neck that should be getting held is mine by your hands-I thought to myself. What is wrong with me? Am I insane? I questioned in my head. "Beautiful! I think that's all for today, the school isn't open after five, so I don't want you to get locked in here, is your mom picking you up?" This is awkward. "She might still be at work, so I'll walk home." "Say, are you busy after school tomorrow... for piano?" I smiled at him. "I'll be there." He laughed. "Oh, do you want a ride?" "Aw, thanks...I'll leave that decision up to you." "I don't mind, it's just that it's pouring, so...come I'll drive you home." "Ok." I blushed, I don't know what's getting into me lately. "Thank you Mr.W...I really appreciate it." "No problem, Sarah." As he pulled into my driveway, I noticed it would be rude to just leave. I looked at him. "How much do I owe you Mr.W?" "That won't be necessary, Sarah." "You sure?" I asked. "Positive." He laughed, that laugh is so adorable! "Oh, thanks so much for everything." He smirks. "Have a nice night Sarah...I'm here if you need me." "Aw, ok...I'm here for you too." I'm still asking myself questions like why do I like this guy so much? There's just something about him. He left. I heard the sound of my feet crushing the fallen leaves that made a crunch sound when I walked. I looked up to see warm-colored trees as a coat of darkness fell over the sky and covered the town already, I heavily breathed out. Seeing the sight of my breath in the air when I realized that this meant that winter was coming...and soon. In school I didn't know everything I was missing out on when I was ditching. Maybe I should stop making excuses to skip all my classes after all...CHAPTER SONG
