Musical Movies

So I saw two movie musicals this week...

Into The Woods was very entertaining. I've never actually seen the play so I don't know everything about it, but I thought it was really good. Fun songs, interesting characters... I think my favorite was Little Res. Did you know she played Annie on Broadway? Speaking of Annie...

I also saw Annie. It was definitely modernized with more pop styled music (Sia!!!) well known actors, and more relatable situations. Although it didn't quite hit the spot for me. My best friend played Annie in a theater near where we live and after seeing her sing and play the part nothing else is better. So although it was cute (that little girl that played Annie was so cute!) the sun didn't really come out for me (ha see what I did there... wow I'm stupid XD)
