I don't know what to call this

(Almost) 4th grade author

So when I was in 4th grade, I told everyone I was going to write The Amazing Spiderman book and that I would base it off the movie. That never worked out but I did write the prologue AND I kept it. So, let me know what you think! (I didn't revise this... it's the same as it was when I wrote it as a 4th grader)

It was around 2:30 in the afternoon when my dad and I were playing hide and seek. I finished counting, and I was looking for him. I checked the closet, the kitchen, and the powder room. As I went to check the office, I was startled. The drawers in his desk were open papers everywhere, glass was broken and his breifcase lay opened and searched

For a second I thought my father had been angry and frustrated, so things were like this for a reason. I called him anyway, "Dad... Dad!!!" More urgent every time I called. He came and looked surprised, then became worried, as if someone had stolen something important.

He told me to back away, so of coarse I did. He was searching as my mother came in and gasped. She put her arms around me just as my dad found some papers, put them in his briefcase and came to me. He said, "You are going to go stay with Aunt May and Uncle Ben."

Well, that was painful to type without changing a bunch of stuff. I copied it exactly so the formatting and spelling is probably off. Oh, and the scene where Uncle Ben died scarred me for life... to this day I am afraid of gas station stores late at night...
