[Madison POV]
I tapped my foot under the long and empty dining table impatiently. I've been waiting for my dad to show up for the past 4 hours!
Ever since mom died, he hasn't been the same. He hasn't done anything with me, unless it's to punish or criticize me. I knew that he was going through a rough time, losing his wife and all, but he could at least try to be in my life.
My dad's assistant, Bridgette, walked into the dining room, her usual tablet in her hands.
"Your father can not come because of some work," she told me. I rolled my eyes and stood.
"Since he's not coming, can I finally go to school?" I asked, my hands in my jacket pockets.
Bridgette tapped on her tablet, probably checking my schedule. I twirled the edge of my jacket impatiently. Bridgette sighed.
"No, but you can go out," she told me and retreated back to her office.
I rushed into my room and grabbed my wallet, my airpods, and my phone. I put these in my dark gray purse and hurried out the mansion.
I took a deep breath of fresh air with a smile. I put in my airpods, took out my phone, and started playing this.
I walked by a cafe. Miraculous Cafe.
I kept walking, but I felt like someone was watching me. I looked back, but I didn't see anyone that was looking at me. So, I kept walking.
I walked into America's Music and Arts College and made my way to the gym. I poked my head inside to see that the boys were leaving.
I quickly hid behind a trashcan as all the boys were exiting the gym. Once all of them were gone, I let out a breath of relief.
I heard laughing behind me and turned to see 2 girls laughing at me.
The leader, I guess, had fair skin, light blue eyes, and light blonde hair that was in a high ponytail. She wore this.
