ENJOY!!!!!!!

[Madison POV]

I glanced at Sage worriedly, who was walking beside Tyler and Zane.

Sage hasn't been himself after me and Lexie made that bet. He's been quiet and lost in his thoughts most of the time.

I looked at Parker, who was staring sadly at Sage. I knew about her crush on him and understood why she was so worried.

I just wanted to tell them that everything was going to be okay, but I didn't know if it would. So, I didn't say anything.

I licked my chocolate ice cream.

Parker and Wendy were talking, but I couldn't get the competition between Moon Howler and Volpina tonight out of my mind.

"I need to go home," I told them suddenly and started towards home. I quickly put in my airpods and played this.

I walked through the front doors of the mansion as I took out my airpods.

"What are you doing here so early?" Bridgette asked me.

"I need to do something tonight, and I need to find something to wear," I told her, backing towards the stairs.

"When do you care about what you wear?" Bridgette asked suspiciously, crossing her arms. I sighed.

"Fine, but you can't tell anybody," I gave in. Bridgette nodded. "You know about the bet I made with Volpina?"

"Yeah," Bridgette replied. "What about it?" I sighed.

"I'm Moon Howler," I told her. Bridgette blinked in surprise.

"You're going to sing in front of tons of people just because your friend was going to be banished from a cafe?" I nodded and Bridgette sighed.

"I really need to do this for Sage!" I pleaded. "He's my friend!"

"Go."

I grinned and tackled Bridgette in a hug.

"Thank you!!!!" I exclaimed and ran into my room. I searched my closet for the perfect outfit.

"I must have something in here..." I said under my breath. I finally found the perfect outfit and packed it in my light gray duffel bag along with some light gray face paint.

BANG!!

I jumped, threw my duffel bag into my closet, closed it, and turned around. I opened my door to see that Wendy just got home and I let out a sigh of relief. I shut my door and searched for a song to sing at the competition tonight.

I entered with my friends and we sat at our usual table.

I looked at the stage where a large red banner hovered over, it read 'A MIRACULOUS FIGHT: Moon Howler vs. Volpina' in neat black writing.

Lexie arrived and the customers cheered. Lexie looked around and smirked.

"I guess my competition isn't here!" she said smugly.

"It's only 7:45," I reasoned with an eye roll. Lexie shrugged and went backstage to change.

I glanced at my friends and stood up stiffly.

"What's wrong?" Parker asked worriedly.

"Um..." I leaned in. "Period," I whispered and Parker nodded in understanding.
