I can't imagine what Violet is going through, the darkness is already getting to her. When the darkness got to me I felt like I was going threw hell. I don't want her to go threw what I went through... yet she kinda already has...

I am seated opposite of my mother who is not looking so well. She got married to a new man, Jon, who is surprisingly her age. He is wealthy, and knows all about us.

I'm nervous, I don't like talking to my mother, but I need her to set us up for a meeting with Billie Dean Howard. But now I can't find what to say to her... I need to do this for Violet, I don't know what I would do to myself if I didn't...

'So what did you want to tell me !?' She says getting mad that we've sat in silence for way too long. I still don't speak even if I have something I really need to say. 'If you're not going to speak, boy I will!'

I really don't care for what she has to say, I just want to help Violet then leave.

'Now I have some real news for you! I have lung Cancer.' She say calmly, but hurt

I still don't say anything, even if it does hurt to know she might die...

'I'm gonna die soon...' She says even more hurt, but I don't speak. 'Can you at least act like you care!'

I wanna cry, first my poor Violet has touched the darkness, now my mom is gonna die.

'Look, I want you to see Michael at least once before I die...' She says sickly

'No mom I can't do that... He is not my child if he didn't come from Violet.' I say tears streaming from my face

'Oh, now that's a good one! You're just gonna act like he isn't your own flesh, and blood, and leave him to rot all because you fucked your girlfriends mother!' She says, I start crying harder 'Don't even get me started on the fact that you are still caught up on her when she broke up with you!'

'It isn't like that anymore! I've changed!' I say, the memories are rushing back to me... this can't be good, I want it to stop! I buried them for a reason 

'Yeah right, you have always been the same way!' She says

'How about you just leave him on the streets like you wanted to do to Addie for so many years!' I finally say, choking on my tears. I mean it to, it is her fault that Addie is dead, that bitch!

'Is that what you invited me for!? Just so you can insult your own damn mother about her horrible life decisions while she's slowly dying!!' She finally broke down into tears.

'I... I want to set up a meeting with Billie Dean Howard..' I say shyly

'Why? What makes it so important that you had to drag me back to this horrid place!?' She says pissed off.

'Because she's the only one who can help me, and Violet!' I say, I need to set up this meeting as soon as possible, or things could get really bad...

'Wait, Violet doesn't need help.' She says

'Yeah she does! The darkness has gotten to her!' I start crying again

'Ok, if I set up a meeting with you, Violet, and Billie, then you will meet Michael once before him, and Jon move?' She says taking another puff of her cancerstick.

I have to think about this, if I meet Michael, Violet may never forgive me... but if I don't then Violet will get worse, and she doesn't deserve that. Honestly she didn't deserve any of the things that came to her...

'Yes I will, for Violet, and her only.' I clarify, I don't want her to think I'm doing this for her sake.

'Alright you'll have a meeting with Billie in 2 days, and you'll meet Michael in 4 days.' She says

'Alright...' I don't want to meet Michael, because I know Violet will never forgive me. And I already can't survive without her... well we are already past that point, but you know

She gets up, and walks away. Well that was probably the best way we could have had a conversation. All of the sudden Haden appears in front of me.

'What are you doing here Haden?' I say annoyed

'Are you fucking kidding me?! You're still hung up on little miss moody when you're supposed to get over her!' She says pissed off

'Don't call her that!' I say back

'She doesn't love you Tate! She told you herself, remember?' She says purposely trying to piss me off.

'That's not true! I can't feel this way if it is true, I just can't!' I say crying more

'Well it is Tate you're just going insane! Like when you shot up that school,' Now she's really getting on my nerves. 'And you wanna know why she is so sad! It's because of you Tate!'

'No.. No!' My heart breaks the more she speaks... the memories... there coming back!

'She killed herself because of you don't you get it!' That's it!

I jump from my chair, and start choking Haden as hard as I can.

'Get off of me!' She says pushing me off 'See Tate you haven't changed you're still a monster!'

I run away, I need to see Violet or something bad will happen. I know it, even just seeing her face will cheer me up. I also need to tell her about Billie, and if I can... Michael...

Writers note: Sorry there wasn't any Tate, and Violet scenes, I just needed to make this chapter to forward the plot. The next chapter should tho, so bare with me. Also thanks for all your support! I really appreciate it <3
