Backstory
(Y/N) was born into a family divided between two worlds. Her mother was a pro-hero, a symbol of justice and kindness. Her father, however, was a villain—bitter, angry, and cruel.
From as early as she could remember, she and her mother lived in fear. Her father would return home from whatever criminal activities he had been up to that day, drunk on power or alcohol, and take out his frustrations on them. His anger wasn't just violence—it was words, sharp as knives, cutting deep into (Y/N)'s spirit.
When she was five, she started school. It was supposed to be exciting, but instead, it only made things worse. While the other kids discovered their quirks, she remained the same—ordinary. The taunts started early. Quirkless. Useless. A waste of space.
But not everyone was cruel. There was one boy who defended her, a kid who dreamed of being a hero. "It doesn't matter if you don't have a quirk," he told her. "I'll protect you anyway." His kindness was a rare light in her life.
That same year, (Y/N) asked her mother if something was wrong with her. Her mother reassured her, then took her to the doctor. The results weren't what she wanted, but they weren't the worst news either. She wasn't quirkless—just a late bloomer. But that didn't stop the bullying. Or her father's rage.
Two years later, her mother was gone. An accident, her father claimed. But (Y/N) knew better. The guilt he should have carried, he placed onto her. The abuse worsened. Every day was a new bruise, a new scar, a new reminder that, in his eyes, she wasn't enough.
By the time she was nine, she had lost all hope. No one was coming to save her. So she saved herself. She ran. She wandered the streets, cold and alone, until she collapsed in an alleyway, too exhausted to keep moving. That was when she heard footsteps approaching.
A boy, barely older than her, and a man stood in front of her.
"Are you okay?" the boy asked.
She hesitated, then nodded.
"What are you doing out here?" the man pressed.
"...I ran away."
"From what?"
"My father."
A pause.
"Why?"
She swallowed hard. "Because I haven't gotten my quirk yet. He—" She hesitated. It hurt to say it out loud. "He blamed me for my mom's death. He... he hit me."
The man's expression darkened. "So, you were beaten. Blamed. Bullied."
(Y/N) nodded again.
The boy next to him tilted his head, studying her with curiosity. Then, without another word, the man made a decision.
"Come with us."
She didn't ask why. She didn't care. Anywhere was better than where she had come from.
Nine Years Later
Tomura Shigaraki had built something in those years—the League of Villains. And (Y/N) was part of it. Not because she was forced, not because she had nowhere else to go, but because Tomura, the boy who had once asked if she was okay, was the closest thing to family she had left.
Unlike the others, he never made her do anything she didn't want to. He never pushed her to fight, never forced her into violence. She was his sister in everything but blood, and that was enough.
Then, two years ago, the League expanded. New faces arrived—Toga, wild and unpredictable, and Dabi, quiet but burning with something dangerous beneath the surface.
(Y/N) and Dabi were never meant to get along. He was closed off, guarded. But somehow, through shared experiences and stolen moments, things changed.
A few months after meeting, they got together. And now?
