I woke up in front of my computer screen. I realized that last night went fast. After I was done with my diary last night, I thought it would be ok to open my Instagram account. It was a photography page, because of which I had thousands of followers the last month. This time, I was 3 thousand less for 50k. I was pretty excited, but then I thought maybe because I have never shown my face in it. had I done it, I would have probably not crossed 10k. once I was done uploading a few new pictures, I decided it was enough screentime and thought to turn it off. but just before I did, I get a message request from a "miss_lazy". It was a 'hi' message, only elongated with around 50 'i's. Was it possible it was a fan message? Anyways, I check out the account, n it's Arohi. She mostly just posted blogs about herself. then I get a message from her again, saying "u there?"

I accepted the request almost immediately after and started texting. Further conversations weren't very interesting. they  were mostly "sup", "wyd", "ugt". The conversation got interesting when I asked her if she had a pet. She doesn't own one, but then she is suggested medically to have a pet, for therapy purposes. She also wanted to play with my dog, which I didn't understand, because right now she was capable of adopting and puppy of her choice and yet she wanted to play with my guy. I guess it would be easier for u to remember if you hear her name. It's "Cherry". It was a French Bulldog. Okay, probably the CUTEST one, but honestly I would think she would be more interested in a Yorkshire Terrier.

Our conversation never actually ended, so she sent a bunch of texts of concern before realizing I had fallen asleep. How did she realize? My 80 lines text of "zzzzzzz" sent when my face was on the keyboard.

The Sunday morning was pleasant, even besides waking up with my face on a keyboard, and squares imprinted upon my face. The sunlight filled the room with a glow and for the first time I years I woke up from the light like a normal human rather like a vampire. I went downstairs and found a note on the fridge. "Going to the dentist. Ice cream in the fridge. Love you". My sister's dentist appointment was today. They were getting her wisdom tooth removed. The only reason I even cared was that they got me ice cream for my breakfast.  And that's all I would ever care about.

I opened Netflix on the TV and started watching "Never Have I Ever". It was a small series so I finished it by the time my parents returned. "Please tell me you dropped her off at the orphanage", I prayed to my parents. My dad dumped himself on the couch and said "No buddy. They don't take in kids of her age. My sister walked in and waited for us to finish laughing. Once we were done, she said "If my lips weren't numb, I'd give u a huge kiss on your cheeks". I took a step back. "Woah there lady. The only two people allowed to kiss me under this roof are mom and Cherry. So don't even THINK about it!" I said, pulling out a knife and pointing it at her.  Just then mom walked in to remind us of our basic house rule. "No violence in front of Cherry". Now, it's not that we have this rule because of Cherry's innocence. We have it because the last time we fought in front of him, he ended up getting excited and tearing all the pillows with his teeth and paws. Cherry lives with me only, so it was my responsibility to replace all things Cherry destroyed, including the linen ones my mom bought from a VERY expensive store. I flushed my 1 and a half years pocket money because of one disaster. And I only had 2 years' worth.

I took him to my room and started feeding him. When I glanced out of the window, I noticed a familiar person. I looked out again to find out it was Arohi. I went outside with Cherry in the excuse of taking him for a walk. I would have talked to her... but she wasn't alone. At this moment my ass was tattered so I decided I'd rather just actually take Cherry for a walk. But I went in the opposite direction to avoid conversation. The little guy liked the idea too. He always found the pups at that side rather cute.

So after Cherry's amazing outing, I rushed home so I could reach before lunchtime.  I was STARVING, especially since Cherry wanted to flirt with all the cute pups in the park. So after that hell of a walk, I was ready to eat a truckload of food, if available.

At the end of the day, I went to the computer to text Arohi again. I had a total of 101 notifications from Instagram. I carefully paid attention to the first 50 texts or so. But after that, I just gave up hope n jumped to the last message. Turns out she was just excited about having new friends. I'm gonna be honest, I won't say I wasn't jealous, but then I was also happy for her.

I decided to go to bed early, considering that I have to walk to school the next day. I ended the conversation quick enough to have time to write my diary n sleep.
