TW: Abuse mention

*Roman POV*

"Virgil?"

He doesn't move.

I rush over to him, shaking his shoulder.

"Virgil? Virgil, are you ok? Virgil?!"

I'm freaking out because he. Is. Not. Moving.

"Everything alright in there, Ro?" Patton asks.

"NO!" I shout.

I hear a clang outside and Logan comes rushing in. He pales when he sees Virgil.

"We'll need to get him some ice and bandages, but I didn't see any here. Can we take him to your house?" Logan asks.

I shake my head.

"Not after last time," I say.

After I was kidnapped by parents screamed at me, telling me that was an awful joke and I should be ashamed of myself. They didn't believe me when I said it wasn't a joke. So I'm forbidden from even saying the word 'kidnapped' at home, and the state Virgil's in would send my parents into something crazy.

"What about his house?" I ask, pointing to Virgil.

"How would we explain this to his parents?" Logan counters.

"Good point. Yours is the next closest, let's go," I say.

Logan picks up Virgil, who looks weak and bruised and pale. What did they do to him?

When we walk out, Patton looks shocked and horrified. I take his hand and he squeezes tight and doesn't let go.

"I- I found his sweatshirt," Patton says, holding it up.

"Good. He'll be wanted that back," I say.

"Not to disturb you two's moment, but we need to get moving," Logan says.

I look down at J-Dee and Jason. It looks like Logan knocked out Jason before coming in. I don't know how J-Dee's unconscious, though.

It takes about a half-hour, but we make it to Logan's house. Somewhere along the way, Patton took off his cardigan and wrapped Virgil's sweatshirt around his shoulders instead.

Logan sets Virgil down on his bed and asks Patton to get some ice. He tells me to get the bandages.

I've been to Logan's house enough to the point where I know where everything is. He has an array of bandages, ranging from gauze to band-aids. I'm guessing Virgil will need a combination of both.

I grab what looks useful and go back to Logan's room.

"Is he going to be ok?" I ask.

Logan makes eye contact with me and for the first time, he looks worried.

"I don't know," He says.

He and I quickly wipe our worried expressions away when Patton enters. He already is very worried about Virgil, we don't need to make it worse for him.

"How's he doing?" Patton asks.

"A little better," Logan says, "He doesn't seem to be too bad,"

Patton hands him the little bags of ice he got, and Logan puts them on the worst of Virgil's bruises. He frowns a little at Logan's words.

"How is he really?" Patton asks.

"I just told you," Logan says.

"No, you didn't," Patton insists, "You're hiding something. Please, just tell me. I can handle it,"
