As you may have figured out, I don't usually do separate author's notes, but we're nearing the end of the story and I felt it was fitting.
First things first, I'd like to thank some people who have been significant in the formation of this story:
• The many people who helped me on another app, including, most prominently, Morri_Ash .
• A few notable people on here: MaggiePershyn , who has accompanied me on this journey from the very beginning, creamy_cupcakess , who has been nothing but fiercely supportive, Colleenisanerd , who has provided tons of emotional support, and TheViolinJedi and -thornless-rose- , who never hesitate to contaminate this story with Star Wars references. And, of course, what they all have in common: spamming me with lots and lots and lots and lots of comments.
• Those who voted, commented, or in any other way made themselves known to me. I won't list you all by name for both my convenience and your privacy, but I see you and I am extremely grateful.
• And, last but not least, those of you who chose to remain silent. I don't know who you are, but I know those numbers don't go up on their own, so, whoever you are, thank you.
As for the plan:
I expect this story to be 23 chapters long plus an epilogue, making for a total of 25 parts (including this note). I will continue to update Saturday mornings, and the epilogue will be posted on Sunday, August 16, the day after the final full chapter.
And my goodness, this whole thing went by so quickly! I'm not sure I even have the words to describe it! It was very educational, super fun, and brought us all together, so no harm done, but wow that went by quickly.
And again, thank you all so, so, very much for all of your support. As many of you know, this is the first semi-serious story I have written in my entire life, and I am utterly amazed by all of the love it has received. Thank you.
—Luna ❤️
