" These battle scars don't look like they're fading
Don't look like they're ever going away
They ain't never gonna change, "

Not everyone understands what it's like to hide behind a mask. Afraid of what people would say if they spotted the horror...

"Kid, you okay?" Mal heard as she looked up from her boots to see Wolffe standing in front of her, his helmet off and tucked under his arm. "I'll be fine. I just...I can't believe that the Chairman is willing to go to war with the Talz! Bad enough our war is effecting this system, and he wants another! I just...wish we could do something, or better yet, Senator Chuchi."
"I wish the same too, kid. But, we can't change the powers of the Senate. Chairman Cho has the higher power, he makes those decisions." Wolffe explained as Mal sighed heavily, running her gloved hand through her hair.
"What can we do?"
"I'm not sure, but General Kenobi is about to leave with Generals Skywalker, Plo, and the Chairman. Maybe I could see if you could tag along." Wolffe informed as Mal looked up at him weirdly. "Oh no. I don't think so. I feel like if I tag along, I'll just end up killing him before we even make it to the Talz. He's that annoying."
"Heh. Yeah, you're right. Well, good luck here and hopefully this will go well." Wolffe chuckled out as Mal shook her head.
"I'm pretty sure it won't, but okay."

"Sir, the gunships can't take off in this storm. We don't have enough bikes for the entire platoon." Rex said while Anakin approached with Mal and Obi-Wan.
"Have the rest of the men stand by here. No matter what the Chairman thinks, we're not going to war." Anakin emphasized as Rex nodded in acknowledgment. "I hope not. There's already too much at hand for Pantora to get involved in another war."
"Exactly. And that's what the Chairman needs to be aware of." Mal shrugged while shaking her head. "You know nothing ever gets through to his thick and broad steel skull."
