"Where's your Sergeant?" Rex asked as Echo looked at him with sorrow. "Gone, sir. We're all that's left."

"Looks like we got ourselves a bunch of shinies.." Rex said while rubbing the eel's blood on his gloves hand. "Um..shinies, sir?"

"That's right. Your armor is shiny and new, just like you." Rex said with a smirk before he patted on Echo's armor with the bloody hand, leaving his handprint. Cody and Rex began to climb their way up the rock but not before stopping to hear Hevy say, "Sir, we're going to take back this base. Shiny or not."

"Well, there's hope for you yet, rookie." Rex said, smirking again before he looked to Mal. "Ladies first."

"Aww, such the gentleman.." Mal joked while lightly punching his arm plate before she began to climb, himself following after before the others climbed after. As soon as they reached the ledge, Mal raised her head slightly to see if any other droids were around. There weren't any. So, Mal climbed back down to the small ledge below where Rex, Cody, and the others were.

"Well..?"

"There's no droids. But we need a plan on getting in there." Mal explained as Rex nodded and looked to the others.

"Look alive, rookies. As long as those tweezers have control over this outpost, that puts our entire home planet of Kamino at risk." Rex explained.

"But, there's so many.." Echo began while Mal hooked the unused blaster she had in her hand onto her belt.

"Doesn't matter, kid. We have to take back this base, so we WILL take back this base." Rex said with determination as the three troopers straightened up.

"And how do you suggest we do that, Rex ol' boy?" Cody asked as Rex looked at the base. "I think I may have a few ideas.."

Mal and Hevy made their way onto one side of the door while Cody, Fives, and Echo sneaked to the other. Mal had faith that Rex's plan would work. Mal looked at Hevy and quickly said,

"I got your back, Hevy. Remember that."

"You got it, kid." Hevy acknowledged, though she wanted to express how much she had his back. She had a vision that he was going to die, but she wasn't going to let that happen. He mind went back to reality as she saw Rex walk towards the door weirdly, pretending to be one of the droids. Mal wanted to giggle at how crazy he looked, but it was all part of the plan.

She heard the droid talk over the keypad and every time it asked Rex something, he would respond with "Roger, Roger", which made Mal at one point bend over slightly, holding her stomach as she laughed almost silently.

The last time Rex said "Roger, Roger", he crotched down while holding a droid head in sight to the keypad. Though it was funny to Mal, Cody shook his head while basically facepalming before muttering, "This isn't going to work."

But, fortunately, it did and Rex quickly aimed his blaster. The moment the doors slid open, Rex blasted at one of the droids before the others took the rest down.

Mal went ahead, the others following after her before they made it to the control center, immediately being met by blast fire. Mal hid behind a wall, Echo and Fives soon coming up beside her as they started blasting their shots.

Mal grabbed the blaster from earlier and began firing, hitting some droids, although missing some because it was her first time using a blaster. As she shot another droid down, she heard a shot hit something and looked down to see Fives had been hit.

"Fives! Are you okay?"

"I'm..fine. Clankers just shot me in the shoulder plate, is all." Fives assured before he continued firing. Mal stopped firing before she ignited her lightsaber, running up to the remaining droids and cutting them up. She went to get the last one which was about to attack Rex with it's blade, but Rex beat her to it, quickly dodging the attack before grabbing it by the head, twisting it and pulling it off it's body.

"Woah, that was cool." Mal mumbled before she turned and saw that Echo and Fives had shot down another droid.

"Ha! Got one!"

"Sorry, Echo. I junked that one."

"Like hell you did." Mal laughed while watching this before approached Rex, who was standing over the droid he basically just decapitated. "Not so tough now, are you, Sparky?!"

Mal laughed, shaking her head as she did before she heard Cody say, "Get to the window. Looks like we have visitors."

Mal ran up the stairs and towards the window where she saw something in the sky but it was too far away to make out.

"Echo? What is that?" She asked as Echo threw on his helmet and used his scopes. "That's a Separatist fleet!"

"That's why they commandeered the base. They're mounting for a full scale invasion!" Cody exclaimed as Mal panted softly before looking at Rex. "What do we do?"

"We gotta blow this place to the ground."
