"A Gypsy? Seriously?" Mal asked in disbelief when Anakin and Obi-Wan rejoined with Plo Moon in the medical bay. Rex stood off the corner with Cody and Ahsoka had woke up a few minutes prior and was now sitting her bed listening attentively. "How the heck am I a Gypsy?"
"Well, Gypsies were known for foreseeing the future and making contact with themselves from the past." Plo Koon explained. "So, you mean to tell me I'm some psychic witch who time travels?"
"Not exactly." Anakin mumbled. "When you talked with Ahsoka and I, you mentioned things that haven't happened yet. Like the mention of Mandalore or.."
"How Anakin turned dark. It's your future self trying to communicate with you through familiar faces, faces that are familiar to them in the future, or even show up themselves." Obi-Wan explained, Mal looking down at her feet. "How did you guys find out anyway? I thought they all died out.."
"Fortunately, they have not. The Jedi Council found out your visions after you left the medical bay when you had the virus. We searched and searched and we found out about the Gypsies. There's only three left, you, a Grethian (I made a half Torguta half Dathomirian. I'll explain later.) from Tatooine, and...your sister."
Mal's eyes went wide at this. She knew that her sister was alive, thanks to her visions, but...she always thought her sister was normal. Her heart raced, thinking her sister is just like her and she looked to the three Jedi. "Grace..is like me?"
"Apparently so." Plo replied, Mal looking back down at her feet. "Is there anyway we can help her? Maybe bring her back to the temple and help her?"
"I wish there was, Maleshei. Unfortunately, because she isn't force-sensitive, we can't train her."
"You won't have to." Mal intervened, looking back at her Master with a determined look. "I can train her. Not by the ways of the Force, but I can train her with hand to hand combat. She'll need to protect herself if you're saying she's a Gypsy. The Separatists would love to get their hands on her, or this Grethian, or even me."
"I understand you're determination, Mal.." Anakin began, Mal looking at him. "But, we can't risk it. I understand it's your sister and you want to help her, but you'll be endangering yourself as well."
"So, what are you saying..we just don't help her?" Mal asked looking to the three with hurt. "You're just going to-No." Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Plo all looked to see the girl's eyes glow red like the last few times. A grimace look displayed on her face and she looked between each Jedi.
"No, you can't ignore this, Masters." Mal said while standing up from the bed and walking towards the window. "Mal, why do you say that?"
"Because a year or so from now, she'll be an important role in what will soon come. You must find her and bring her to the temple. If not, I scoured all the possible realities and all will end up with her going Dark Side if we don't bring her now. I understand you have a code, and I understand you have more important things, but my sister is important to me. And soon, she'll be just important to the Republic." Mal explained, looking from the Jedi to outside the window.
"What? What will happen?" Anakin asked as Mal looked to him, a slight glare on her face. "I can't tell you that. It will change the timeline if you knew too much."
"Timeline? I don't understand.." Obi-Wan replied as Mal held up her hand. "You'll understand in time. For now, you must bring in Grace. Trust my past self on this one. She knows what she's doing." Mal said before her eyes went back to normal and she blinked a couple of times.
"Wait a second..how did I get to the window?" Mal asked herself while from her feet to the window then back at the Jedi. "What?"
"Master Plo, contact the Jedi Council and let them know of our development. Anakin, have Captain Rex and Commander Cody plot a course for Tatooine." Obi-Wan ordered while Anakin walked away, calling Rex and Cody with him and Obi-Wan leaving the room.
"What's going on, Master?" Mal asked while looking from her Master to Ahsoka, who looked shocked and confused all together. "We're going to find your sister."
"Really?"
"Yes. But remember, she's still on Tatooine, with.." Plo began as Mal lowered her head, glaring at the ground. "I know." She mumbled before looking back up at Plo Koon.
"My emotions will be kept together. They won't get to me." Mal said with a serious tone before she slowly walked past Plo Koon and out of the medical bay, leaving him and Ahsoka alone in the room.
"Will she be okay, Master?" Ahsoka asked as Plo looked to her then back towards the door. "I'm not sure, Little 'Soka. We can only trust that she will do what needs to be done and what she can't do."
