"Wait..doesn't your blasters have a stun feature?" Mal asked while observing Wolffe's blaster in his hand. "Yeah. Wh-Wait, we can stun them instead of having to knock them out."
"Okay. But, still, be careful just in case." Mal informed while approaching her door with caution, watching as it slid open. "Do you see them?" Wolffe asked as Mal poked her head out from outside the door, looking down the hallway several times before she gave the all-clear. "Alright, Wolffe, remember..we're not gonna kill them. Okay?"
"You got it." Was all he said before they both made their way down the hallway towards the cockpit, Mal trying her hardest to contact Ahsoka or Barriss. Coming around a corner, they saw Barriss and Ahsoka running and Mal immediately waved her arm, getting their attention.
"Mal! Are you okay?! Did they get you?!" Ahsoka asked while hugging her friend tightly, Mal doing the same. "I'm fine, 'Soka. What about you guys?! Do you know what's doing this to the men?!"
"We're not sure.." Barriss began, looking around. "We did find this in the barracks where the men were." Barriss finished, holding up a cracked egg for everyone to see. "I've seen that egg before.."
"Where?" Wolffe asked Mal as she took hold of it, rubbing the texture around it. "I remember during debriefing Master Anakin, Master Kenobi, and Master Luminara, along with their men, encountered these worms that brought the dead back to life. They showed a picture of the egg, it was a glimpse, but I remmeber this texture.." Mal explained thoroughly, brushing her fingers gently on the glue-like slim on the inside.
"Great..so we're dealing with Walking Dead worms. Isn't that amazing!" Wolffe exclaimed as Mal held up her hand. "Okay, calm down. We'll figure something out. If we can get to the cockpit to check on the pilots, maybe we can get a message to Master Anakin."
A blast fire went off, barely missing Wolffe's head, which made him duck down quickly. Ahsoka, Barriss, and Mal ignited their lightsabers, blocking shots that were being fired at them by their own men. "Guys-woah! Stop shooting!"
That didn't work. They continued firing, nearly grazing at the four of them. Mal ran up to them, grabbing one of the troopers' blaster, snatching it and striking it into his helmet, knocking him to the ground.
Wolffe had fired his blasters, stunning the remaining troopers before he looked to Ahsoka. "We need to hurry before they wake up."
"Mal! Let's go!" Ahsoka called, but Mal didn't move. She just stood hovering above the trooper below her. "Mal?! What's wrong?!" Mal turned around, Ahsoka seeing that her eyes were fully red. No orbs, no pupils, not even the white part of her eyes. They were just red.
