I woke up to soft, large hands rubbing my oversized stomach. I felt the tiny kisses he planted on it and I couldn't help but to smile.
"Good morning in there," he mumbled between kisses.
I felt her kick immediately.
I opened my eyes quickly, "Yup, that's a good morning to you too. No more talking though or she's gonna karate kick herself outta here right now."
Syl beamed, proud that his unborn child already knows his voice.
"Morning baby," he said, kissing my forehead.
"Morning love," I smiled.
It's crazy how after being with someone for so long I still blush at even the little things he does.
Sylvester McMaster and I were married for two years and three months now. I've been extremely happy especially since I found out I'll be having a baby girl in the next three months. Syl, on the other hand, is way more happier than I am.
We've been through alot in the past.
Thanks to his crazy ass ex- girlfriend almost killing us on two occassions and threatening to ruin us.
And we couldn't be any happier now that she's gone.
Rest in pigshit, Victoria.
Sigh. I meant peace... although you took that from Syl and I.
Syl and I have were having frequent nightmares since the last incident with Victoria when she shot me. It's been very difficult for me, but I've been working on it and things are changing. And I know this baby would make everything even better. I couldnt wait until mini me was here although deep down inside I was scared to be a mother.
Mostly because I was terrified of the thought of pushing a big ass baby out of a tiny vagina.
I had no idea on where to even start or what to even do when the baby gets here so my days were filled with mommy books and a class for first-time mothers Carol, Syl's mother, introduced me to.
Tying his tie, I asked, "What's on the agenda today?"
"I have a shit load of meetings today," he shrugged, "What about you?"
"I'm supposed to have lunch with Chelsea. She's in town," I replied.
Chelsea is my bestfriend who I met in college. She got married about two years ago and then decided to move to Florida with her husband, Jared, a month or two after Victoria was killed. Chelsea has been there for me for basically my entire adult life and I love her so much for being there especially when I really needed her... like now.
When I told her about my pregnancy, she was ecstatic. Chelsea wanted to move immediately back to New York to stay with me but I couldn't separate her from Jared.
Well, what I meant was, Jared wasn't having that.
"Great! Is she staying with us?" Syl asked.
"No, it's just for the day. Jared is here for a business meeting so she tagged along to see me,"
"Okay baby. Have fun. I'll see you tonight," Syl replied, kissed me then left for work.

That afternoon, I quickly scanned my closet with our maid, Claire, trying to find an outfit. Pregnancy is beautiful but no one really exaggerates the fact that all your sexy stuff wont look so sexy on you anymore..
or wont fit you at all.
"I'm fat, Claire. Nothing wont fit!" I sobbed.
Claire hugged me then said, "You're not fat. You're pregant. We'll find something."
We searched for another twenty minutes then finally, I found an oufit; a cute, blue, spacious mini dress for my huge tummy and some nude sandals for my swollen feet. Seeing that I was late, I quickly put on my soft glam makeup then headed out of the house.
I hopped out of my matte black Ferrari 458 Spider and gave the vallet to park. I entered the restaurant and there she was in the waiting area.
"Chelsea!" I squealed, running to hug her.
"Aria!" she squealed, running to hug me.
Chelsea looked so beautiful and her new haircut made her look like strawberry shortcake. I just wanted to bite her cheeks.
"Whoops. This little one here is interrupting our hug," Chelsea said pointing at my stomach.
I giggled.
"Oh my God, you are glowing!" she said, stepping back to look at me.
"Thank you," I blushed.
We got seated than started talking about everything that's been going on in our lives. Chelsea had some great news. Jared's job was making him move back to New York. I can see her often again. I was so excited! Having Chelsea here would make me beyond happy because I only had Syl, his parents and Claire to talk to here in New York because I didn't really trust anyone else since the Victoria thing but it wasn't enough. Chelsea knew me before all of that so I felt even more comfortable to just open up to her.
"You still need to try and trust others though, Aria. Don't let what happened a couple years ago affect your interacting and communicating skills. You're a beautiful individual inside and out and you need to let other persons see that," Chelsea said.
"I know," I sighed,
"Just dont go finding a new bestie. I'll cut a bitch," she said, holding up the dinner knife.
We looked at each other for a minute then laughed.
I was so happy I had Chelsea back.
