After Syl and I had dinner that night, we decided to give Claire a break and wash up together. Syl was often busy at work lately so we spent time together whenever we could.
"I cant wait for her to get here," he said, looking at my stomach.
"Me too," I replied then gave him a quick smooch on his lips.
Syl put away the last plate then looked at me hungrily. He put his arms around my lower back then pulled me closer to him, my stomach interrupting.
"You know it's been a while.." he said, smiling and looking into my eyes.
"Been a while since what?" I replied, smiling knowingly.
"Since we had a little.. fun."
"Fun is what got me this," I giggled, pointing at my oversized tummy.
He laughed. "Don't worry. You'll be fine," he said.

Syl gently held my face and kissed me slowly on the lips. His soft lips caressed my lips and I could feel his tongue occasionally searching for mine. I put my arms around him, pulling him deeper into the kiss. His lips went from my mouth to my cheek then down to my neck. I was holding onto my moan but it escaped from my lips when he reached my sweet spot.

Syl began to unzip the back of my dress. I unbuttoned his shirt. His hands slid under my bra, caressing my breast. I closed my eyes enjoying every moment of it. Syl kissing on my neck, grabbing on my butt. I couldn't wait much longer.
"Skip the foreplay, dammit. I can't wait," I snapped, unzipping his pants and pulling it down.
"Whoa," he replied, shocked.
He turned me around then bent me over the sink. I closed my eyes then bit my lips, knowing what was about to come. I felt him at the entrance, teasing me, then finally he gave me everything. I moaned; my eyes opened.
As soon as we were getting into it, I saw a figure outside through the window. The person stood there; just watching us. I started to get a little scared because no matter how many times I opened and closed my eyes, it wouldn't leave.
I was not imagining this. Someone was watching Syl and I make love to each other in our kitchen. I quickly pulled the kitchen curtains shut, pushing Syl off me. I went around the kitchen and closed the curtains.
Syl stood there, flabbergasted. "Aria, are you okay?"
I stood still at the last window then covered my eyes.
"What did you see?" he asked, walking towards me.
"I saw someone out there," I whispered.
Syl searched the kitchen drawers and then pulled out a knife then a flashlight. He headed for the door. I quickly ran then stood in front of the door, guarding it with my hands and body.
"Are you insane? Why would you wanna go out there?" I whispered a little louder than I should.
"Out there to get whoever is on our property," Syl said, seriously.
Syl pulled me aside gently and went outside searching. I hesitated then followed eventually because I didn't want him to get attacked. Syl stood outside, pointing the flashlight in different directions.
"Where did you see this person?" Syl asked.
I pointed to my left then said, "Right there."
We looked carefully but no one was there. Syl sighed then turned around and looked at me. I felt embarrassed and could tell he didn't believe me.
"There is no one out here," he sighed, barely giving me eye contact.
"I'm sure I saw someone," I replied, a little nervous.
There was awkward silence.
"C'mon, let's go inside," he said, walking away.
Sigh.
I knew deep down that Syl wanted me to stop being paranoid about stuff but it wasn't so easy for me. That night Victoria shot me (along with many other awful things) had scarred me for life. Nightmares upon nightmares causing sleepless nights. Having this feeling that Victoria would appear out of thin air and wreck my life once more.
It was hard on me but I know that this wasn't just a feeling.
I wasn't hallucinating.

Someone was watching us.

It was Saturday morning and Syl didn't have work today.
Yaaaasssss.
We gave Claire the day off along with Syl's driver and decided to get some stuff for the lawn and clothes for the baby today.
And for myself.
Syl wanted to show his 'manliness' by fixing the lawn on his own instead of getting a professional to do it.
"Think of it as a family project," he said. "You can help me. It'll be fun."
"Sure," I replied sarcastically.
There were many things Syl could do but gardening was not one of them.
I quickly pulled on one of my sundresses with my strappy, wedged espadrilles sandals. Seeing that Syl was busy googling things that we needed for our lawn, I quickly put makeup on my face.
"C'mon Property Brother, let's get out of here," I said, grabbing my Celine bag.

Syl and I got to the mall about an hour later than we planned.
Thanks to Syl, the landscaper.
The first task on our list was to get baby clothes. This was my first time shopping for the baby and I was more nervous than excited seeing that I wasn't really sure what exactly I should get. Syl was super excited. As soon as we got in the store, he released my hand then attacked a cute onesie that read: My Dad is my #1 Guy.
"Let's get this!" he grinned.
"She'll be saying that until she hits high school," I chuckled.
His grin turned into a straight line causing me to laugh. He shrugged then picked the onesie up anyway.
Seeing Syl so happy about our baby made me love him even more. I was happy I was married to someone who was grateful he had me. This was the happiest I've been with someone in a long time.
Correction, this is the happiest I've ever been with any man.
After our shopping spree for the baby and a few things for myself, it was time to purchase things for our project. Personally, I thought this was not going to go well but I liked the idea of Syl and I doing something together. As long as I was with him, I was good.
He spent forever looking at the list on his iPhone, not knowing where to start.
"Syl, baby, just get someone to help you so we can get out of here," I sighed, folding my arms and shifting my weight from left to right.
He ignored me, still looking at his phone then the items in the aisle.
"Babe," I whined, "My feet hurts."
Finally, I got some eye contact; Syl put his phone away for a minute.
He sighed, "Okay, love. Why don't you find a seat over there and I'll get someone to help me with the list."
I shrugged and headed to a cute little backyard set with some comfortable seats. I sat down then slipped my swollen feet out of my wedges.
A flat surface never felt so good.
I sat there for God knows how long, waiting on Sylvester McMaster to return and take me home. This baby and I were getting annoyed to the point where I was on the verge of sleeping in the tent beside me.
Finally, Syl returned. He was extremely excited.
"He's alive!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry I took so long," he said, kissing me on the cheeks. "I was really clueless about this whole gardening thing so I decided to get help."
"Good, so can we leave now?" I begged.
"Soon, but first, let me introduce you to our landscaper," he smiled, taking my hand.
Confused, I quickly slipped my heels back on and grabbed my purse.
Landscaper?
Something about this was making me nervous.
We went on the neighboring aisle where a man in a cargo jacket, black jeans and loafers stood. His baseball cap was pulled all the way down, almost hiding his face from this angle. He was busy reading the back of a product and stood by a trolley filled with gardening items. However, I could tell he knew we were approaching.
"John, this is my wife, Aria. Aria, meet John. I hired him to fix our lawn," Syl smiled warmly.
The man looked up now and that familiar scar greeted me once more.
Oh shit.
"Hello, Mrs. McMaster. I'm Johnathon Moss. Pleasure to meet you," he smiled, knowingly.
We've met before, ass wipe.
"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Moss," I replied dryly, playing along.
He stuck his hand out and I shook it firmly. He held onto my hands a little tighter than he should've and gave me that same creepy look he did the first time we met. I quickly pulled my hand away and focused on Syl.
"And he's pretty good at his job. He showed me a few pictures of his works," Syl informed me.
I nodded, looking at Moss suspiciously. He didn't seem a little intimidated by me at all, which scared me a little but I refused to let it show.
Suddenly, his cellphone buzzed. He looked at it then back at Syl and I.
"I must leave now, Mr. McMaster. I will see you tomorrow to get an idea of what exactly to do and what you really need," he stated.
As if you don't already know what my lawn looks like.
"No problem. We'll be waiting," Syl replied.
Moss nodded, looked at my with those creepy eyes once more then left.
Syl held my hand then kissed my cheek.
"Are you okay?" he asked, "You were looking at Moss weird."
"I'm fine, babe. Let's just get out of here," I replied.
I knew I should've told Syl about Moss and I meeting before and how I felt about him but thoughts of his doubts about the other night came back to my mind. He wouldn't believe me. Syl would think he's a good person and that I shouldn't be quick to judge but I felt otherwise.
This man was up to something but I wasn't going to play his games.
