Chapter 37.

It has been so long...

PLEASE READ. It's about story's development.

I have receive truly encouraging comments during this long period of no updates. They have inspired me to go back again and again to work and try to write more. Some of the were REALLY long and they made my day

Why were there no updates? I got bored and DISCOURAGED by the story as trying to structure the events I've imagined was very hard and time consuming. The development of relationships and linking was not and isn't working as I hoped and with time this story has taken me to write the ideas develop change. I have started writing this so long ago, I was new to writing and now my priorities have changed so much. I am not happy with a lot of older parts. THIS ALL STARTED AS AN EXPERIMENT which I find boring to continue sometimes. But I hate to leave this story unfinished. Soundwave has not even changed her mech armor to a more feminine one yet XD... And I know some people wait for that and her love story which has taken too long... Does anyone even remember this story? XD

I do not know where this will end. I might keep on writing more and more. If not, I will try to leave you with the summery of what was to come...XD I do read stories and, ah, I wish people at least told us what they have planned.

If you are interested, here is a chapter I have started like... 2 years ago? I finished it recently and took out some parts to add later. (If I do write, might as well try to keep up the standards.)

Finally, some info of Soundwave's past, where she got most of her skills from. I have lost track of time it took me to decide the details of her background. I feel like you might like the ending part of this chapter. I'm quite happy how the ending came out. Most of the things here were not so fun to write but they ARE important. I TRY TO AVOIDE USING FLASHBACKS...

Soundwave's Secret (Transformers)

Chapter 37.

The reck room was already half - filled with mechs when Soundwave and her group headed out to meet FirstAid on their way before leaving the base. Suspicious gazes as always followed and some not even bothering to hide their stare but since the last encounter with Devon and his group there have been no direct acts of aggression. Most of the'Bots present were the ones Soundwave had not yet interacted with and so their suspicion could be excused. However, some stares were different this time. This was no aggression, nor suspense but curiosity. The glares were not followed by any unpleasant comments and there was a reason behind it.

It was not kept a secret that Soundwave's symbiot was the one to inform the base about Decepticon attack on the small group of hot-headed youngsters. There were a variety of ideas attempting to explain the reason of such act. Some were suggesting Soundwave's good intentions, some explained it as a try to gain sympathy from bots for her own advantage, others managed to come up with ideas against her.

But she was no close to gaining the full trust of these bots.

It was not Soundwave's aim and the femme realized how difficult would that be. How many times she had to prove herself was a wonder and even then there was no promise of trust. She did not expect it from them. Who would trust someone she had pretended to be for so long?

Pretend... How much her true self was deserving of trust? She wondered sometimes. She had tried to keep to her principles, her beliefs but as any living creature, she could not always succeed. Fear, doubt, confusion – Soundwave'd known them too. She could not predict future after all.
