When She Came Back

When she came back

Life felt as deep as black

Striving to be white

But turned gray when in the light

But when she left

My lips turned blue

My eyes pooled

My hands clammed

My sight a blur

And my heart broke

You glued my heart

But your raging words

Filled with heat

And burning fire

Broke it again

Melted like wax

Now I stand here alone

With myself to hug

My cold shoulders shaking in the everlasting rain

That we call depression

Now my eyes dry

My hands flushed

My time wasted

Like her love

Because she never really came back

And she's never going to

And I have to live with that for the rest of the time I have to live for
