I recognized you instantly. All of our lives flashed through my mind in a split second.I felt a pull so strongly towards you that I almost couldn't stop it.- J. Sterling

Why do Tsering and I always have to be the ones to get supplies.Nira sighed. The Elders were obviously too old,the children too young, and the adults too busy watching after said children.Nira still didn't get why us two had to go every month. There were plenty of other teens itching to go out, alas, they chose us.

"Hury up lazy! We're gonna miss the Khagans!"Tsering teased her.She got up on Shanti.

"Yip Yip"She said.

Nira looked over the grassy plains Shanti passed by,wishing she could just lay down, and stare at the sky.Every month, the air nomads living under?in? the Kamala Mountain would go to the Khagans for supplies.

The Khagans weren't exactly kind people, but they did help the band of air benders as much as they could. It had been easier in the last few years,as the girls didn't have to lug the supplies back home on foot, but they could fly on the sky bison without fear of being caught by Fire Nation soldiers.

"It's so cloudy today"Tsering commented.

"Maybe Feng got pissed off"Nira joked

"At who?Agni?The Ocean?"

"Maybe us humans."

"We are pretty annoying right"

"So.Annoying."

"Hey look!Sarnai!"

Shanti landed. The two teens jumping off.

"Sisters."The leader of the clan nodded to the young girls.

"Ashi Sarnai."Nira bowed her head.

"Why must your airbenders call me a lady,I shall never know."The woman commented. Now c'mon kids,we have tons of fruits from the east.

"Fruits..Strawberries?"Tsering wiggled her brows.

"Yes,strawberries."Sarnai groaned. It was like this every time they had gotten fruits.Tsering would get overly excited and trip and ruin all of her favorite fruit.

"How about you get the strawberries Tser?"Nira laughed as she watched her friend run off squealing to the poor man holding the berries.

The two other women walked in comfrotable silence to the middle of the bustling camp.Careful not to walk into children or portable yurts being set up.

"Do you plan on going to the South during winter?"Nira asked.

"East actually"Sarnai responded.Giving the girl various boxes of ointments, clothes and foods her people needed.

"Thank you,Sarnai."Nira bowed her head.

"Her Tser." She told her friend, who was practically skipping while balancing the container of berries.

While manuevering between the various men, women, and animals, with the added annoyance of the containers piled on top of one another blocking her point of view,Nira bumped into a small child.

Just like that, all of the containers she was holding went flying into the air. Before she could fall however, someone caught her.

And she found herself staring into grey, grey eyes.
