Chapter XVI

We're going home. I was forced to drive since he was drunk. I don't know why he's drinking a lot.
"Finn"
Tsk,this man is really a pain my neck. What have I done to have this?
"Finn,don't worry I won't throw up in here-----"
"Yah!!" He just did it in front of him. The car was a mess now. The smell of his mess sucks too.
"Can you stop the car?"
I parked it near a convenience store. I immediately went out and buy something for his hangover. I also bought bottled water and a wet wipes.
"Get out in there"
I cleaned his face with the wipes.
"I'm happy that you wait for me too. I thought you never did it. " I said to him.
I got a shirt from the compartment in that car. I was wondering why he has extra shirt in there.
"Change your clothes."
His eyes were closed and crossed hands on his chest.
"Mattheo,wake up! Are we gonna stay here for long?"
He looked at me briefly.
"You're pretty."
"I know that since I was a baby."
"No,I'm just kidding. You're ugly."
"I gonna hit you with this."
He used his right arm to cover his face.
"Change and we go home. Drink this."
"Uggrhh..my head hurts."
"Yeah,that's the result of drinking too much. Do that everyday and you'll get a hit from me."
"Fine,I won't do it again. Are you serious of staying here for good?"
"No,I changed my mind just a second ago."
"Why?"
"I'm going home."
"Why? I'm here. "
"I'm going to find my first love."
"First love. It doesn't make sense to me. You know what? We are married but you are still thinking about your first love. Are you serious? "
"Are you fine now?"
"Yeah. I am fine. Perfectly fine. Your first love issue makes  me wake up."
I laughed.
"Let's go home. It's getting dark."
I got in the car and drove away.
He was not sleeping the whole ride.
"I'm going to die in your way of driving."
"It's great right?"
"No,you'll end up in prison if you always do that."
He got out from the car and head to the elevator. I parked his car and brought his dirty shirts and his hangover medicine. He's standing by the door.
"Finn,"
"Are you okay?."
" I'm about to throw up. Is there anything we can make this lift fast?"
"Use this." I gave him the plastic bag of his medicine. The moment I gave it to him,he immediately vomit. I tapped his back.
"You're doomed."
"I'm sorry. I thought I can handle."
"C'mon,we're here. Get out now."
We get inside. He immediately went to the couch to lie down. "Change your clothes first. "
"Hmm."
I went to our room and change. My phone rang. It's Lee.
"How is Mattheo?"
"He's drunk. You must have warned me before we went there. Your husband is a good drinker."
She laughed on the other line.
"Let him rest,then tomorrow hell be okay. Mattheo is a good man. I can see that he loves you my friend. Can't you see the way he looks at you? Oh c'mon,that was so great."
"I love him too."
"I'm happy you're fine now. I thought you'll live your life miserably again."
"I've been wishing to the stars long time ago and I forget it because of Liam. But that wish really happens now. And I'm happy now."
"Stars made all the things possible for the both of you. "
"Yeah."
"By the way,how can we assure that your leukemia will never come back? According to your doctor,he said the probability is 20-50% will survive. "
"Let God decide. I'm happy now. As long as I am alive,I will spend my days memorably so that when I die one day I would be happy in heaven."
"Finn,don't say that."
"Yeah,all the things I wished for before are here already, what can I ask for? I will just enjoy my life,Lee."
"I'll pray for you. Finn"
"Thanks my friend."
After we talked,I went to the living room. I saw him lying on the couch.
His phone rang.
I looked at who's calling. It's Beatrice. Who's this?
I answered the call.
"Hello,Mattheo?"
"Hello?"
"Who are you?"
"I'm sorry,you're the one who called. "
"I'm his girlfriend. And who are you?"
"Do you want to leave a message?"
"Please tell him we need to meet tomorrow after his work."
"Okay. And where?"
"Tell him I'll go to his office."
"Who are you again?"
"Beatrice Sheridan."
"Okay. I got it "
"Thanks and once again don't answer his phone again."
"What?"
"Fine, goodbye."
I was shaking. My blood boils while looking at him.
He opened his eyes.
"Hi."
"Tsk!" I left him alone. I went to the kitchen.
He went to the room to change his clothes. His phone was still in the couch. I got all the ingredients from the refrigerator.
"You come here,I'll really hit you with this carrots."
My tears came out from my eyes. He said he loves me but why he's cheating on me. Why? Beatrice Sheridan?
"Finn" he called me suddenly.
I didn't say anything nor answer him. 
He went to the kitchen. He sat opposite to mine.
"Stay away from me."
"Again?"
"Leave me alone."
"Finn,let's talk like real people."
I didn't say a word. I keep on slicing the spring onions. I got the carrots and peel it.
"Finn, what did I do?"
" I can sue you."
"What?"
"We are married but you cheat on me."
"Again?"
"Beatrice Sheridan? Huh,your girlfriend. I thought you don't have any girlfriends since long time ago."
"B-beatrice Sheridan?"
He smiled at me.
"Tell me you feel bad."
"No."
"But why you are angry?"
"Who's that?"
He crossed his arm on his chest. His eyes were like playing while looking at me.
"Tsk."I hissed. He was smiling.
He stood up and walked towards me. He crossed the distance between us. He held my shoulder and kissed me without permission.

" She's not my girlfriend honey. She's my cousin. Do you remember the healthy lady who came with us during my grandfather's wake?"
"What do you mean-----yah!what are you doing?"
"She's my cousin! You don't have to be jealous."
"I'm not so you shouldn't do that!"
"I'm your husband."
He walked out from the kitchen.
I continued doing what I have started.
"Don't worry I'll get back to you. I'll let her pay for doing that prank to you."
"Don't talk to me."
He laughed at me.
"I love you Finn"
