***Angel's POV***

It had been two days since I accidentally blurted those three horrific words to Marshall and I hadn't talked to him since. I couldn't talk to him. I was so fucking embarrassed and insecure, I couldn't face him. He had been trying to call me what felt like nonstop, but I refused to answer. He kept leaving me voicemails but I also refused to listen to those. I really didn't want him to try and make me feel better or act like it was nothing. I knew it was a big deal and that I had majorly fucked up, so before I could talk to him again I needed to stroke my ego and make myself feel better about it.

Since it was Wednesday, I was going to be at the studio all day. I was still writing and recording like a mad woman, trying to meet my March deadline. My next single was set to be released next month and we decided it was going to be No Time. It was featuring Diddy, so the label figured it would create some good hype for the album release.  Marshall's next single was also going to be released next month and he chose My Name Is. I know he was feeling unsure about it, since he said the more he listened to it the cornier it got to him, but his label said it was gonna be a hit so he trusted them.

I checked my watch and saw it was almost lunch time. I usually went to go grab something to eat at around one, and Zoe was going to join me today and come hang out at the studio for a bit. I figured she would be here soon so I decided to just keep working with my producer on Queen Bitch until she arrived.

One thirty rolled around and someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I yelled and Zoe opened the door.

"Hey!" She greeted me.

"Finally you're here!" I said back jokingly and stood up to give her a hug.

 "You ready?"

"Yeah I think so?" I looked at my producer for reassurance and he nodded to me. "I think we're just gonna go too McDonalds, do ya want anything?" I asked him.

"Nah, I'm good. Thanks though." I nodded back to him and me and Zoe left.

As soon as we got out of the building and started walking towards the McDonalds, Zoe turned to me. "Girl, ya gotta call Em."

I rolled my eyes. "Why? So I can make an even bigger ass outta myself?"

"Oh please. It's really not that big of a deal, and Denaun told me he's freaking out because he thinks you're breaking up with him."

I knitted my eyebrows together. "Why would he think that? I just haven't talked to him in a few days."

She looked at me like I was dumb. "What would you think if he didn't call you for two days?"

I groaned. "Fine. I'll call him tonight."

"Look, I know you're new to this whole dating thing, and you're going in with the experience of a sixteen year old, but you can't just run and hide when you don't wanna have an uncomfortable conversation."

"Yeah okay, thanks mom." I said sarcastically.

"I'm serious! Especially in long distance. Communication is even more important."

"Yeah yeah, I'm fuckin' workin' on it. I've only been in a relationship for a month, okay?" I accidentally snapped at her and she gave me a pissed off glare. "I'm still learnin' the ropes, aight?" I said jokingly.

She laughed and nudged my shoulder. "Girl, shut up." We walked into the McDonalds and put in our order. We were standing around waiting for our food when a random girl who looked about eighteen walked up to us.

"Hi, excuse me." She smiled. "Sorry if this is weird, uhm, are you Angel?"

"Yeah I am. Why?"

"Like Crush On You, Angel?" She smiled bigger.
