***Marshall's POV***
It was the day of Angel's birthday and I had woken up pretty fuckin' early. I wanted to make today so special for her so the first thing I did was order her favourite meal from the breakfast place that was a block away from her old house. We used to go there all the time back in '98 and '99, and it was always one of her favourite places. Actually, I vaguely remember getting mobbed there when My Name Is came out? Yeah, it definitely was that place because that was the first time it had ever happened to me. I laughed thinking about it, Angel was so hungover that morning. Fuck I miss those days.
After Aidan returned with the food for us, I plated it all for her and then rolled a blunt for us to share afterwards. I brought it to her room as quietly as I could and placed it on the side table while I grabbed her birthday present out of my bag. Once I did that I placed it beside the food and crawled back into bed with her.
I let the back side of my hand run down her neck while I kissed her head. "Happy birthday beautiful." I whispered and she groaned a little.
"Thanks baby." She said in a sleepy voice while she reached her arm behind her and softly placed it on my cheek.
I chuckled and kissed her hand. "Come on baby, ya gotta wake up."
"Nooo." She whined.
"Yesss." I whined back making fun of her.
She laughed and started turning around to face me. I watched her eyes slowly flutter open and she stared at me with her deep browns like she was asking me what the hell I was waking her up for. I smiled and jutted my chin out towards her side table. She cranked her head to the side and gasped.
"Marshall!" She said excited as she started sitting up. "You did not have to do all this!"
I laughed while she grabbed her plate off the side table. "What? Get ya a birthday present and order ya some food? Feels like the bar is pretty low."
She smirked and rolled her eyes. "You're so annoying." She mumbled due to her mouthful of bacon. "Are ya not eatin'?"
I shrugged. "Nah, I'm not really hungry."
She looked at me with a face that said she didn't believe me. "Bullshit." She placed her piece of bacon an inch away from my lips and I laughed while I took a bite. "See?" She shook the bacon in front of my face. "Have some." She grabbed her fork and started stabbing the hash browns. She placed it in front of my mouth again and I took another bite.
"Fuck I forgot how good their food was." I said chewing.
She nodded while she ate some more bacon. "I know, I miss being so close to them."
"You know where there is one close to?"
"Where?!" She looked at me with the most excited face.
"My place in Detroit." I grinned.
"You fuckin' asshole." She laughed and playfully pushed her hand against my face.
"Yo, if that's what's gon' get ya to come move in with me, i'll go franchise one right fuckin' now." I joked and pointed my thumb behind me.
She smiled and started stabbing at her eggs with her fork. "Y'know, i've been thinkin' 'bout that."
"What?!" I quickly sat up. "Fuck ya mean 'thinkin' 'bout it'?"
She laughed and shrugged. "I mean i've just been thinkin' 'bout it."
"Don't fuckin' play with me right now, Angel. Thinkin' 'bout what?"
