Loona's POV
Loona walked through the front door with an angry yet exhausted expression.
Her day had been awful. She woke up late and forgot to charge her phone. Then when she got to work her boss yelled at her for being late. Then her co-workers dumped all their work on Loona forcing her to stay late and finish it.
Two words: Bad Day.
Adam was sitting on the couch with his dogs Milton, Bailey and Rascal.
Loona didn't even greet Adam and went up stairs to take a shower. Adam noticed her sour mood and followed her. Loona was grabbing clothes from her dresser when she felt arms wrap around her waist.
"What's wrong Princess?" Adam said kissing her cheek. "Today was shit. I woke up late, forgot to charge my phone, my boss yelled at me for being late and everyone piled their work on me. I just want to take a shower and go to bed."
Adam saw tears welling up in her eyes, he turned her around and gently wiped them away. "Go take a shower and come down stairs I'll have a surprise for you.
Loona nodded and went to take a shower.
After she showered she went down stairs to find a big pillow fort in the middle of the living room. Adam came out with her favorite childhood blanket and stuffed animal puppy. She smiled at him and hugged him tightly. "Thank you for doing this, it means a lot."
Adam cupped her face and wiped away the tears streaming down her face. He leans down gently putting his lips over hers.
They spend the rest of the night in the pillow fort talking and just being content in each other's embrace.
