Loona's POV
Me and Max weren't an official couple yet, but we were getting close to it. I honestly don't know if I'm ready to be in another relationship after what happened with my last fake boyfriend.
I was in my office watching a video when I saw Max standing in my door way. "Hey, what's up?" I take off my headphones and pause the video.
"Can I talk with you? It's nothing bad I promise." Max comes closer and puts his hand over mine.
"Uh, sure." I take his hand and we walk out of the office. Since it was close to lunch time we didn't Adam minded if we headed out early. Me and Max make it to McDonald's and walk inside. While Max orders the food I go find a table more towards the back.
I see Max come with our tray of food and set it down on the table. "Are you okay with...us being together? I mean you seem to be uncomfortable when your around me? Was it something I said?" Max says taking my in his.
"No, it's just....in my last relationship, I wouldn't even call it a real relationship, this boy I was dating was only dating me to make me jealous. I found out that he was talking to other girls behind my back and he's been cheating on me. I was so afraid to be in another relationship because I didn't want that to happen again. I was an emotional train wreck." I finally look up to Max get up, sit next to me and hug me.
I bury my face into his chest and cry silently. "I'm so sorry you went through that baby. I had no idea you felt this way, why didn't you tell me?" Max says as he rubs my back.
"I was scared I was gonna lose you over this." I wipe tears from my face as Max takes a napkin and gently wipes my face for me.
"Baby, you could never lose me over this. I love you too much to let you go." Max presses his forehead against mine and we sit there for a second before we dig into our food.
"I'm glad you told me." Max stuffs a bunch of fries into his mouth. While I laugh and continue to eat my food.
"I love you Max."
I love you, Loona."
