Barney x Reader x Max - Depressed

No POV

Being sad is one thing, but being depressed is another. And that was Loona's current mood, laying in bed with thoughts running around her head saying she's a failure, that she'll never have a place in this world, that she's a burden.

Loona's POV

I have had depressive episodes before but this has gone on for three days now. I've alternated between the bed and the couch, and finding neither comfortable. Barney and Max were especially worried because we haven't spent time together. But I couldn't find the motivation to do anything.

I heard my bedroom door open and heard Max softly call my name along with Barney's voice. "Loo? Hun, you haven't moved for three days now, don't you think you should? It's not good to lay down for long periods of time, except for sleep or naps."

"What's the point? Everything that I do will be for nothing. In twenty years people won't care about anything I did, it's a waste of time." I say in a monotone voice.

"Where's all this coming's from, baby?" Barney gently asks.
"My stupid mind."
I see Barney and Max look at each other before they each get on their side of the bed and cuddle me. We lay there for what seems like hours, I let tears start to fall and I can't hold back anymore and whimper into Max's chest. My body shakes with each sob that escapes my throat. I feel Barney's arms gently wrap around my waist and feel him softly kiss my neck to calm me down.

"We're rights here baby, your's not alone's anymore." Barney says gently petting my head. Max kisses my forehead and rubs my cheek with his knuckles.

After a while my sobs stop and a lay there drifting to sleep. "Baby, let's get you a bath and something to eat then you can sleep okay?" Max says as he rubs my cheek again.

I nod and let Barney carry me to the bathroom to get washed. After that I get something in my belly and sleep with my two favorite people in the world.
