Adam x Reader - Shower Accident

No POV

Loona had went home early because she finished her work up quickly, it may have made the others jealous but there was no point in staying if there wasn't anything else to do. Plus they knew Loona hasn't had the best sleep and needed it.

Loona's POV

I closed the front door behind me and kicked off my shoes. I rubbed my face tiredly, sighing in relief at the fact that the long day was over.
I went into my room to get some pajamas to take a shower, I grabbed my phone so I could listen to music.
I set my clothes on the toilet, my phone on the counter and picked my playlist. I turned the shower knob to hot and water quickly heated up, I undress and climb in letting the hot water flow down my tired body, I grabbed a washcloth, soap and started washing off the sweat on my body.
I finished and rinsed off and turned off the water, when I start to get out, my foot slips and I fall forward, hitting my head hard on the counter.
I cry out in pain, holding my head in my hands.
I noticed my phone on the floor in front of me and called Adam.

A=Adam
L=Loona

A: "Hello?"
L: "I fell in the shower."
A: "I'm on my way."

He hangs up and I lay there, afraid to move.

After a few minutes I hear the front door open and Adam's voice echo through the apartment.
"Baby!?" He calls out.
"In here!" I yell as loud as I can.
I see him in the doorway with a concerned expression on his face.

"It's okay baby, I'm here, let's sit up okay?" I softly says.
He gently helps me sit up against the wall. I whimper at the sharp pain running up my back, "What hurts baby?" Adam asks.
"My back and my head, I hit my head on the counter."
Adam gently lowers my head and sees a small bump on the back. "It's a small bump."
He helps me stand up, I put on my pajamas and go to my bed. Adam leaves for a moment before coming back with an ice pack in hand. He gently puts it on the small bump, I flinch at the contact of cold ice on my head.
"It's cold." I whisper.
"I know baby, but this'll help it go away." He says.

I start to drift to sleep but Adam tells me to stay awake in case I had a concussion. I flinch slightly which caused a searing pain to shoot through my back causing me to cry out in pain.
Adam rubs in the room to see me breathing heavily and crying.
"Adam, I need to go to the hospital." I breathe out.
Adam carefully lifts me in his arms and carries me to the car.
When we get to the hospital, Adam told the nurses what happened and they take me back to do x-rays on my back and head.
I had three broken ribs and a minor concussion.
"We have to do surgery to fix your ribs." The doctor says.

*In The Morning*

I woke up to see three people in my room.
My vision was blurry so I couldn't make out who it was. "Who are you?" I whisper.
"It's your friends, Ross, Jess and Max. How are you feeling?" The nurse says.
"My head and ribs hurt." I say.
"You will be sore for the next few weeks, but you'll make a full recovery." The doctor smiles.
"What's your name?" I ask him.
"I'm Dr. Jackson." He smiles. "I'm the one who performed your surgery."
"Thank you." I smile back.
"Your welcome, I'll leave you all alone." He walks out of the room.

"Adam called last night and told us what happened, it sounded scary." Jess said.
"It was." I sigh.
"The whole office was worried." Max rubs my arm.
"I bet."
"Everyone has the day off since the situation made everyone so worried." Ross says.
"I'm sorry guys, I never meant for this to happen." I sigh again.
"Hey, it was an accident." Jess gets up to hug me gently.
"Thanks Jess." I smile.
"Your welcome."

*Months Later*

I wore a post medical belt to help reduce as much pain as possible when I coughed, sneezed, etc.
I was still in pain but I was recovering quickly, Adam made a video and posted it on my channel, letting the fans know about my situation. They were understanding and kept asking how I was doing and if I was okay.

Today was my day to come back and show everyone that I was okay.
I slowly walked to my office with the help of Barney who had his arm around my shoulders.
"Thanks B." I smile at him.
"No's problem." He smiles before walking into his office.

I get on the skype call with Adam, Barney and Jess.
"Are you guys ready?" Adam asks.
"Just a second." I say and hit record on my camera.
"Ready." I say.
"Hey guys! Sky here, welcome back to another video of do not laugh. Today I'm joined with ThatGuyBarney, Appppppppphmau, and CoyoteStarCraft! Loona."
"Hey guys, Coyote here, I know you all heard what happened to me and I assure you all I am doing fine, the doctors said I would make a full recovery, so please no more worrying." I say.

With that we start the video, of course I can't laugh hard but nonetheless I had fun.
I was glad to have my friends by my side the time I was in the hospital and at home recovering.
