What a birthday part 1

I've been awake for 10 minutes just laying in bed relaxing. I don't want to get up, I don't want to be 21. Maybe a little but ugh, I just want to be a kid again.

I took a shower and got dressed. I did my hair and makeup and went downstairs to the kitchen. Nobody knows what happened with Harrison and Grace after she dragged him away from Tom. I think they left to talk or something.

I was sitting on the couch writing when there was a knock on the door. I got up and opened it to see Tom. "Hey! What are you doin-" I started but Tom just walked inside. "Hello?" I asked. "Erm hey, have you seen Haz?" He asked. Wow no happy birthday or how are you. "Umm no I haven't seen him, why?" "I haven't heard from him since yesterday and that never happens, he always responds" Tom said.

"I can text him if you want?" "Yes please" we sat down on the couch and I got my phone out.

Now we wait. "You want anything to eat or drink?" I asked. "I'm good" "okay"

"What's this?" He asked taking my book up. "It's just a new song" I said. "Sing it for me" he said. "Sure..."

"That's beautiful" Tom says. "Thanks..." "who's it about?" He said wiggling his eyebrows. "Nobody..." "sure sure...now who's it about!" "You're not gonna give up are you?" He just shakes his head. "It's abou-" *ding* I lift my phone up to see a text. "It's Harrison"

"Oh god I'm so sorry! Happy birthday!" Tom finally said. "Thanks..." "it totally slipped my mind, I'm so sorry darling" he said and hugged me. I really need a hug, I buried my head in his neck. We sat like that for a while. I started crying "y/n?" He asked. I didn't answer, a soft sob escaped my lips and that made Tom hug me tighter. "Are you alright?" He asked. "No" we released from the hug, "why are you crying love?" "The s-song, the text m-message, H-Harrison." I said "you want to tell me more specifically? I can't understand why you're sad until you explain" he said softly. "Okay" I said.

"The s-song is about Harrison and his new girlfriend...when he said in the text message that he's with Grace my heart broke again, if I hadn't made the stupid mistake 9 months ago this wouldn't have happened. I miss him so damn much tom so much" I said. "You should talk to him..." Tom said. "No no no he's moved on" I said. "No he hasn't" "w-what?" "He can't stop talking about you, he doesn't love grace."

"And I just got a text from him saying he's back at the apartment, come on let's go" he said standing up. "What do you me let's go?" I asked. "You're going to talk to him." "Absolutely not" "come on" he said dragging me to the door. "Let me at least look decent" "fine"

I went upstairs and fixed my makeup and changed out of my joggers to some jeans. "Okay I'm ready" I said and we left to go to their apartment.

"Here we are" he said. "Can you go in and like ask him what happened? I don't want to embarrass myself" I asked. "Yeah sure" he said and went inside.

Tom's pov

I went inside and saw Harrison watching tv. "Hey mate" I said and sat down beside him. "Hey" "so what happened?" I asked. "What do you mean?" "With you and grace" "ohh she got pissed at me right, we left and started taking and she said that y/n had said she didn't trust me and stuff. Grace then got scared I would cheat on her and we had a fight...we are good now but she's still kinda mad" he explained.

I didn't know what to say. "You don't love her man" WHAT ARE YOU THINKING TOM? DONT SAY THAT YOU IDIOT. He just looked at me "dude...what's that supposed to mean" oh god he's offended. "I mean you're still in love with y/n" "what nooo" he said. "I know when you're lying" I said. "Fine. I miss her but she's probably moved on" "I suggest you break up with grace and talk to y/n" I said. "I should shouldn't I?" "Yeah you should."

Harrison got up and took his phone out. "What are you doing now?" I asked. "Asking if grace can come over" no no no y/n is in the car! "She's coming soon" he said. "Okay hmm you should change yeah" I said. "What why?" He asked. "You look like shit" "thanks" he said and walked to the bathroom. I ran to the car and got y/n"

Y/n pov

I saw Tom running to the car. "Come now!!" He said. "Okay okay" I said as we went inside. "Wha-" "sshhh!" We walked to his room and he closed the door.

"What's going on?!" I asked. "Keep you voice down! Grace is coming over" Tom said. I sat down on his bed "what" I said slowly "it's good! He's breaking up with her!" He said. "Tom who are you talking to?" Haz asked through the door. "Umm just paddy!" He said quickly. We heard Harrison leave Tom's door. I smiled like an idiot. He's breaking up with her. "Why didn't you just drive me home? I can talk to him tomorrow" I said giggling. "I don't know I panicked"

The doorbell went off and I heard grace voice. We couldn't hear them and to be honest I don't want to,. Me and Tom heard the door close loudly, we both got up and went to the living room. Fuck I shouldn't have left!! Harrison saw us and he looked really confused and I don't blame him. "W-what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I wanted to talk to you..." I said. "I'm gonna leave you two alone" Tom said and went to his bedroom. "So..." I said as I sat down on the couch. "So..."
