Chapter 16

Franco POV's

Kasalukuyan akong nagkakape  habang nag babasa ng mga papeles dito sa kwarto ng binook ni dad na hotel. Simula Linggo ay nandito na kami ni dad para sa mga ka meeting namin. Akala ko ay negosyo lang ang proproblemahin namin dito. May mas malaking bagay pa pala.

Napatingin ako sa pinto ng pumasok si dad. Base sa timpla ng mukha niya mukhang hindi naging maganda ang pag kikita nila ng mga kasamahan niya.

"What happened?" Tanong ko habang pinapanood siyang luwagan ang necktie na suot niya. He looks really frustrated.

Nagtungo siya sa couch at umupo doon. Mukhang pagod na pagod siya "We're on a big trouble, son" sabi nito at napatigil naman ako sa ginagawa ko. "Hindi na maganda ang takbo ng organization. They are all after the money and we should protect your sister. We know what power she is holding" he added.

"Paano nangyari iyon dad, I thought that after the accident they will stop" I mentioned.

Umiling naman siya "They all have their hidden agenda, kinakalaban nila tayo at hindi ko alam kung hanggang saan sila aabot" he said at hinawakan ang kaniyang sentido

"Let me call Fyrex" sabi ko at tinanguan lang naman niya ako.

Pumunta ako sa veranda ng kwarto at doon dinial ang number nito. Ilang saglit lang ay sinagot niya ang tawag.

(Kuya..) Tawag niya sa akin habang umiiyak

"Fyrex? Bakit ka umiiyak?" Nag aalalang tanong ko sa kaniya. Kapatid ko siya at kilalang kilala ko siya hindi basta basta iiyak ang isang ito kung hindi niya na talaga kaya ang isang bagay.

(Kuya I don't know what to do)

"Its about Frayne, go and tell me what you feel. I'll listen"

(I feel sorry whenever I see her in pain. We shouldn't come out with this idea. This is all our fault, hindi ko ata makakaya pag nawala ang loob niya sa atin)

"Don't overthink Fyrex we're just doing what is right"

( We are her brother, we should protect her but where just hurting her by our plan. I know that we have our reasons and we're doing it for her own good. But still, nasasaktan siya kuya. Niloloko natin siya, do you get my point?)

"Yes I clearly get your point, but we already did it. We can't just go back in time and change the plan. Its not that easy as counting from one to ten"

(Tell me Kuya, sa tingin mo anong magiging reaksyon niya pag nakaalala na ulit siya?) Bahagya na siyang tumahan marahil ay nailabas niya na ang mga sasabihin niya.

"She will be sad and maybe furious. I don't want to think about it, specially we have another problem to solve"

(Is this a motherfvcking curse? Sunod sunod ang problema natin)

"I should have buy some potion or some.. what do you call that? Anting-anting? The thing that can prevent or avoid the bad luck"

(Let me buy some for us. Im tired with this set up, can't we just go back in past where we still can do whatever we want?)

"We can't, notably now that some head of the organization want us down"

(What? How about dad? How is he?)

"He's not fine I can see frustration on his eyes. We should do something regarding about this matter"

(They will target Frayne for sure)
