After the everything that happened that night, I tried with every being of my fibre to forget it even though I didn't want to.
I wanted to remember the taste of his lips on mine, the tenderness of his touch and kisses, the eagerness, the passion but I shouldn't be doing it.
I've the best boyfriend a girl could ask for. And yet here I'm trying to collect the remnants of my best friend's touch that ignited something so deep within me, I never thought I was capable of feeling.
Next day at the office was a blur of files and work, work, work. I buried myself into my work like never before, breathing in every detail and giving it all I can until my body screamed at me to stop.
By the time it was time to go home, I was already drained out of everything to actually drive back home.
I moan in protest as the thought of driving back home enters my mind.
Eyes closed, head leaned back on my chair, I tried to gather my strength. Also trying not to doze off in my cabin.
It was already late. In fact, even Liza left early today.
Apparently, my help actually worked. Camille and Liza actually talked it out finally and resolved whatever issue they were facing.
That didn't stop Liza from lecturing me into oblivion though. She was furious I was involved, would be an understatement. But she was glad to, all the same.
Even brought me some rich chocolates that were apparently sent to me by her now girlfriend, Camille.
And currently, they were sitting temptingly on my desk, calling to me.
I really shouldn't be eating them considering I've been eating a lot of junk lately.
But they look so tempting...
And before you know it, I'm already grabbing at them and devouring each and every bite happily.
By the time 1/4th of the box is over, my hands are sticky with chocolate melted on my fingers while I suck on them leisurely and moan.
I'm so busy licking all the chocolate off my fingers that I don't notice the figure leaning on my door and watching me with dark eyes.
I only notice him after he chuckles, giving me a headstart.
"God Clinton, a warning maybe next time?", I exclaim and go back to my business.
He chuckles again before sliding off the door and making his way over to me, hands tucked into his pant pockets.
He stops short in front of my desk, still watching me with a smile.
"Did I scare you?", he says in a low tone.
"Mhmm", I nod and pull out a finger out of my mouth with a loud 'pop' sound.
I make to put another finger inside my mouth but stop as Clinton's hand shoots out to grab my arm firmly.
I look at him with furrowed eyesbrows.
He leans forward his face near to mine and I practically see his eyes glow with dark intent in them.
I ignore the tingles that ignite with just that look on his face.
His mouth parts as he focuses on my lips. I watch as his thumb darts out to my upper lip, only to slowly swipe it across to wipe the smeared chocolate.
My breathing turns harsh at that and I resist the urge to close my eyes in pleasure.
His eyes follow his thumb and my eyes look at his face with so much intent.
