Rodney showed me the way back to his farm. His property was huge from what I saw. Two barns, a huge farm house, a huge garden. Then I began to think about my uncle Steve who is one of the best farmers I know.

"So, because our farm house is so big, we have a story just for bunkers, that is if you want to stay." Said Rodney.

"I doubt I'll stay here, I have a house I just built not far down the road." I told Rodney.

"Well then, here is the house where my lovely wife will serve food. Here is the barns one is full of supplies while the other is full of animals. And the huge garden is where every day you will go in and harvest the crops. And over the fields there are many different plants. We have bean fields, corn fields, and many apple trees and berry bushes." Said Rodney. "So your hired now, and there is always work to do. So tomorrow when you start work, you are gonna start fixing the fence."

"Yes sir." I say. "Well I'm gonna go home now. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Have a good rest of your day." Said Rodney.

I left his huge property and went down the road back to my farm. I went into the house and saw furniture all built and decorated nicely in the house.

"Abner, did you do all this today while I was on a walk?" I ask.

"Yes I did, and I built us each our own beds too. My question is where were you on your walk?" Abner asked.

"I just went walking down the dirt roads and I stood by the fence under a shady tree and prayed to the lord." I say. Abner just nodded so I continued. "And after my prayer, I was blessed because some trustworthy man came up and offered me a job to work on his farm. So I accepted and I start tomorrow."

"Wow really, you finally got a job?" Abner asked. I told him yes. "Can you ask him if I can too."

"Sure, I'll try. But no promises." I say.

Abner and I worked on the furniture and decorated for the rest of the day when I asked him a question.

"So what did you eat for breakfast?" I ask.

"Just a few berries I found the other day. How about you?" Replied Abner.

"I had a nice big and juicy palmetto bug. The crunch was Exhilaratingly delicious!" I say. Abner's face was disgusted.

"Why would you eat a roach?" Asked Abner.

"It was the closest thing to me to eat that was edible." I reply.

"That is disgusting. I'm not a picky eater and I say I would eat anything, but not a roach." Said Abner. "You're just trash."
