Instant Ice Cream

Ingredients:

½ cup milk

½ cup heavy cream

¼ teaspoon of vanilla (see note)

4 tsp sugar

(Optional) Ice

(Optional) Salt

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.

There are 2 ways to make this recipe.

Either put the mixture in the freezer for 2-3 hours

Or, put the mixture in a conductive container, put the container in a bag with salt and ice, and shake for about 8 minutes

The 2nd way is the instant version and leads to softer ice cream. But, you have to constantly shake it for 8 minutes in order for it to work.

Note:

Here are some alternative flavors to vanilla and how to make them.

Coffee:

Add about 1 tbsp of coffee to the milk and heat until dissolved. Let cool and add to the rest.

Fruit:

Add any blended fruit or fruit extract to the mixture.

Chocolate:

Add chocolate sauce instead of vanilla. Add a bit less than 2 tbsp.

Health Conscious:

Add honey instead of sugar.

Avocado:

Instead of using heavy cream, use 1 avocado. You can also use a bit of chocolate sauce for flavor. This recipe is a lot healthier than the original.

Vanilla:

Default recipe

Rocky Road:

Make chocolate ice cream, and before you freeze, add nuts and chocolate chunks.

Almond:

Add almond extract instead of vanilla. Be careful, almond extract is strong.
